The crazy thing is that almost all of these guys being talked about in this thread are locks to be fired. The NFL HC carousel is nuts.
I actually don't think Zorn is quite on the hot seat the way that some think. Yes, he could get fired this year, but I don't think it's a hair trigger, much less a lock. I think he returns if they make the playoffs, or even if the team just has a winning record.

He's not going to get fired. Redskins will win the NFC East. Write it down. With crayons.

I would say Mangini. He's already lost the respect of his players. When that happens, it's usually over for a guy. If he's not the first guy fired, I certainly think his firing is the most inevitable.

Yeah I guess I was off on Lewis, Bengals are looking a lot better than last season. Money has to be on Zorn or Cable now, the problem is who would replace them? Has any NFL team ever replaced the entire coaching staff mid-season? :goodposting:

OK, let's suppose Al Davis does can Tom Cable. It's very very possible. Now the question is, who is actually going to want the Raiders HC position? Will Al Davis have to scour the ranks of assistant coaches in Mid Major college programs to find a replacement coach? :lmao:

Cable ?I don't think Cable is the problem at all in Oakland. I think he was a great hire. He has nothing to work with at the QB position. This is a team in an obvious rebuild situation The players respect him and play hard for him.Cable ?Cable ? :lmao:

Sean Payton made the list?

I picked Zorn even tho he has some years on the contract. The skins seem to throw money around so why not to get rid of a bad coach? If they end another losing streak this week (for an opponent) he's gone.

I think Phillips spared himself for a bit by finally getting a win in that expensive stadium. If he lost....oh man.

Check the date I started the thread, guy. Saints were two games under .500 the past two seasons with no playoff appearances despite all that offensive talent.

:hey: I'll do it! You won't even have to pay me.I can see it now on Fox - "So you think you can coach" a reality TV show where ordinary people take turns coaching the Oakland Raiders.

This looks like a fun game. I'm sorry I missed out. Hopefully Raider Nation will do a new poll for the second hc to be fired.
