FLEX Starter: Josh Downs or Garrett Wilson? (1 Viewer)

Trying to identify my FLEX with tomorrow evening's game approaching. I'm a big Downs guy, so Flacco stepping in looks promising. In 4 games w/ over 40 snaps this season Downs is averaging 20.9pts in PPR. In 3 games with Flacco he's also averaging over 20. He has over 9 targets in every game with Flacco and over 9 targets in every game this year with over 40 snaps. Tomorrow's practice report will be important as it looks like he got another Wednesday off today.

Downs missed practice today with a toe injury (turf toe?) There is risk there but I am not sure how much risk.

He's missed the last 4 Wednesday practices

The reason would be these numbers: Downs with Flacco under center has gone 8-82-1 on 9 targets, 9-69-0 on 12 targets, and 7-66-1 on 9 targets. I was shocked it was so consistent when I looked it up. It definitely makes you think about Downs but in the end Wilson has put up great numbers the last few weeks after his slow start. I don't see how you can sit Wilson at this point.

Never said it wasn’t way better for Downs, I highly recommend him. I said there’s no reason to change from Wilson to Downs…. And you agree.

Starting Wilson, I traded Downs to cash in on the hype. Downs was my 5th WR (6th if Godwin was healthy). WR's now are Jefferson, Chase, Wilson, Godwin (IR), DJ Moore and Kayshon Boutte.
