so i've been using flipboard on my ipad as my morning source of news and other such things, but i feel like i'm not getting as much out of it as i could be. got any good recommendations on what to follow?

Just set this up on my Surface 3. I think this is going to be my most used app. I think.

Uninstall it and get Google news and weather. Very easily customizable, and syncs across devices. But that might not be available for the inferior ipad either

Flipboard is like a beautiful glossy magazine you use to kill time. Google News and Weather is more of a traditional daily newspaper designed to convey information quickly imo. There are times and places for each.

I didn't even know Flipboard was still around. Used it for awhile when it first came out, then I found myself using Feedly or something similar to get what I needed.

Flipboard has recently been rumored to be for sale... Google and Twitter (or Yahoo! I forget which one) have apparently made offers already.
