Link #1: A writer drawing his own conclusion before the facts of the case were out 2 months ago is not proof..Link #2: also nearly 2 months old and doesn't say Zimmerman followed after the dispatchers statement..My linkWhy are you claiming that it happened if you don't know? You're asking for "proof" of something that no one was there to witness? Please Link us to proof that he followed after the dispatchers statement..He started the fight by getting out of his truck and following the guy when he was told not to.Sigh. Please link where it is shown that it was Zimmerman that started the fight.I'm still completely flabbergasted. Zimmerman can be armed, pick a fight, starting losing it, then shoot to kill and get no penalty? Its just....absurdly baffling. Its like Florida is sending out an open invitation to psychopaths.
My linkTrayvon had left the house he and his father were visiting to walk to the local 7-Eleven. On his way back, he caught the attention of George Zimmerman, a 28-year-old neighborhood watch captain, who was in a sport-utility vehicle. Zimmerman called the police because the boy looked “real suspicious,” according to a 911 call released late Friday. The operator told Zimmerman that officers were being dispatched and not to pursue the boy.
Zimmerman apparently pursued him anyway, at some point getting out of his car and confronting the boy. Trayvon had a bag of Skittles and a can of iced tea. Zimmerman had a 9 millimeter handgun. We know, quite obviously, that Trayvon Martin was shot after some kind of altercation with Zimmerman on February 26th. We know that Martin had been walking through the neighborhood on the way back to the home where he and his father were visiting after buying iced tea and Skittles. We know that Zimmermann spotted Martin while driving through the neighborhood in his SUV, that he called 911 to reported what he considered a suspicious person, and that the 911 operator told him that a patrol car was on the way and to not pursue Zimmerman Martin. We know that Zimmerman did in fact pursue Martin, thus leading to a course of events and confrontation that led to the shooting.
The dispatcher said "you don't need to do that" Zimm said "Okay".. There is not evidence proving Zimmerman continued to follow. Actually, evidence would suggest otherwise. If Zimmerman was following Martin as Martin was flee-ing, 8 minutes went by, why did they never get further than the fist building right across the street from Zimmerman's truck?

link to someone telling him not to get out of his vehicle..greenroom: "neighborhood watch people should just mind their own buisness"... Got it.."Child dead for no reason" Definition of 'No Reason': Broken Nose, lacerations on head, back injury, panic brought on by some 6+ foot tall person you don't know, on top of you beating the #### out of you in the middle of the night..
It's not shtick. This is a tough case. There's a lot we don't know, and new evidence comes in all the time. I don't see how anyone's mind could be made up at this point. Based on what we know RIGHT NOW, Zimmerman should be acquitted; the case shouldn't even go to trial. But though I believe Zimmerman should be acquitted, there are other factors involved which makes me question Zimmerman's actual innocence in this affair- I still believe it's highly possible, or even likely, that he committed murder or manslaughter- there just isn't, from what we know, enough evidence to prove it. But that could change. Maybe there are witnesses we're unaware of. Maybe there is evidence we're unaware of. If these show up, I will change my mind again. So yes, I want to hear what this 5th witness actually saw.
