Follicular lymphoma (1 Viewer)

A buddy of mine was just diagnosed with this in an advanced stage. He’s only 36 and in great shape for his age. He’s a truck driver but previously worked as a groundskeeper on a golf course for around 10 years and his doctor thinks he got the cancer from exposure to pesticides.

I also know he does small doses of testosterone ( possibly other stuff) for working out which he says he is now stopping. Other than that lives pretty healthy. Only smokes a little weed but no cigarettes and hardly drinks from what I’ve seen.

Anyone familiar with this with any knowledge I could pass on to him?

Sorry to hear about your friend.  I've got nothing on this illness.  I would suggest checking the major cancer institutes for the latest treatment protocols.

Good luck.

Thank.

He can probably get all that info from his doctors but I ( and he) is interested in alternative treatments that are suppressed by the medical industrial complex.

Ive already suggested he look in to high dose vitamin treatments and to give up all meat and processed foods and go on a strictly vegetarian diet .

So it's Friday?

Otherwise, quit doing that.

There will be no shortage of websites with totally unsubstantiated claims for all kinds of alternative treatments.

I have not heard of the no meat thing, but I have read several interesting publications on a ketogenic diet showing promise for certain forms of cancer.

So, I tell them I'm a pro jock, and who do you think they give me? The Dalai Lama, himself. Twelfth son of the Lama. The flowing robes, the grace, bald... striking. So, I'm on the first tee with him. I give him the driver. He hauls off and whacks one - big hitter, the Lama - long, into a ten-thousand foot crevasse, right at the base of this glacier. Do you know what the Lama says? Gunga galunga... gunga, gunga-lagunga. So we finish the eighteenth and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, "Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know." And he says, "Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness." So I got that goin' for me, which is nice.
