I am already a long-time FBG web subscriber, so the magazine wasn't crucial. But the $1,000 contest was enough for me to pre-order the mag. Great idea.

I seem to have a problem with paypal that I can't purchase anything no matter what credit card I use. Is there any other way of purchasing the magazine. I have to try and call paypal and settle whatever the problem but they have my account locked up.

A question for David and Joe: The June 1 cut date has become largely irrelevant in recent years. Is there a reason to wait on publishing the magazine past that date? Obviously it could be taken to extremes, but it seems like you could flag players as 'possible salary cap victims' and get the jump on your competition. I'm already seeing several magazines on the shelves.

We don't know yet. I have asked the Publisher to get us this date. I believe we received the magazines around the 19th last year. We already have addresses and stamps on many of the orders so we should be able to turn around in a day after receiving these.

Thanks for the update David. If I can't get my mag before vacation, this just gives me something to look forward to after it. My wife says this is probably our last really big vacation anyway so she will probably be glad for me to be focused on her and our trip. Best part of returning will be to pick up the mail and locate the mag to see if I got one of the, dare I say it, Golden Tickets.

Not to speak for them but mags and movies are shipped to stores with a date when they're supposed to be displayed and not until that date. Alot of workers in stores don't give two sh about the date and just want to get it out ASAP.

No problem, like I said I was surprised to see it out already too.Page 114 is the second page of an article entitled "Who Is The Best Player In Fantasy Football" by You ( David Dodds).

first sentence is " And this was exactly where I was a year ago." last sentence " Ans with payouts of over 100 percent and a seven foot trophy at stake, this should be the event of 2006."
