I know FootballGuys usually sends us updates with major free agent signings or trades. What should we expect today?

Will there be an email if Asamougha gets signed? Will there be an email if Hasselbeck gets signed?

There will be no vet FA signings today. Teams can negotiate beginning today, but not sign until 6 PM ET Friday.Trades can happen today, rookie UDFAs can sign today, both beginning at 10 AM ET.

You're wrong. Guys can talk and sign deals that won't become official until Friday. Very similar to what happens in the NBA.

Geez, no I'm not wrong. They can't sign deals.

I think its totally possible that players make their decisions today and it gets leaked but it wont be "announced offically" until Friday.UFAs cannot even report to their teams until the CBA is retified and the union is re-consituted somewhere around August 4th

I think they can report, they just can't suit up/participate in practice. But they are expected to attend classroom sessions and other team activities. Unless I am confusing that with something else.
