Thanks for the listing again!Any chance we can get Jason Wood on either 610 WIP or the ESPN station in the Philly area?
I know he did a spot in Miami last year with OJ McDuffie and another dude, but the duo was switching stations last I heard. Not sure if he'll have that gig again. Have to check with Woodrow.

Pretty much every host on 610WIP depises fantasy football so I don't see that happening....The Huddle runs radio spots however. FBGs could try that...
Rhea Hughes participates in fantasy football, and this year Eskin (who has railed against FF for years) is running a fantasy football contest. He specifically wants to talk about how NFL players playing football can affect fantasy sports, and not a bunch of WDIS questions. To me, this would seem tailor made for the FBG type of content that analyzes things such as SOS, player matchups against particular teams/defenses, things like that. I was also thinking about going to 950 (the other ESPN station in the area...920 doesn't cover a very large area). I don't know Jody MacDonald's feelings on FF, or maybe the guys that come on after him. Either way, it would be a nice counterpoint to the lack of FF coverage that WIP has. I heard the same response last year about not getting on Philly radio, but maybe now is the time...not to mention the FBG staff shouldn't just assume that they can't get on without trying.

Cecil was on 850 the buzz in raleigh on my way home. the host said H. Ward wasn't playing, he must not have heard because he didn't correct him.

Yep, they are trying to land on the other Miami sports station in which case I'm going to do a weekly segment with them. But I handed off the Iowa gig to Aaron (Shick and I split last year) because the timing is awful for me in terms of my day job.

Looks like that will turn into a regular gig. I heard him say that Ward and Roethlisberger weren't playing. I think he just meant to say that Ward had been banged up and Big Ben wasn't going to play.

have you guys tried to get om XM or siruis radio yet

i have xm and i know rotowire has an 1 hr show every day from 5-6 PST on sporting news and i know on fox they have fanball guys on during their shows ( no specific time)

Not sure how many of you get MASN (626 on DirecTV - Eastern seaboard gets the cable channel too).

I'll be on the Anita Marks Fantasy Blitz. Here's a link to the schedule, not sure if it will work.

I'll be recording it for an hour or so in studio Friday afternoon.

It'll cover Week 2 and Week 3 games, with an obvious fantasy slant, and Footballguys.com will be mentioned ad nauseum  all hour.

The show airs:

Friday 11 PM

Saturday 5:30 PM

Sunday 9:30 AM

Check it.

congrats, Jeff. That is a good gig. Are you going to be wearing any FBG gear? That kind of endorsement deal must be HUGE.

I've heard Dodds on a station here in Lincoln (though I may have been getting it from Omaha--can't remember). Is that a weekly thing? I think he said that it was. . .

Sorry Jeff.I tried but can't get on.

If you guys like this show (or any other appearance by any FBG) let the station(s) know.

Here is how to let MASN know: MASN

The more that FBG's let these guys know that they want to see more Footballguys, the more it will happen.

Thanks all for watching.

Go Braylon Edwards (and also Reggie Wayne).

BTW, on the show here were my called shots:

Stud - Ronnie Brown

Dud - Reuben Droughns

Sleeper - Antonio Bryant

(Bryant's a sleeper in the guppy world, not in the FBG world)

Ah yes, I think Wayne was the other one they shot down.

I sent a comment to MASN about the show, and mentioned Footballguys. Look forward to seeing more of you guys.
