Good stuff here. Wish I could have linked this for the guy trying to compare Matthews to AJ Green.

He runs great routes, has huge hands, has an above average vert, he's very fast, and coaches have raved about how teachable he is. He can be taught how to fight for balls better with those huge hands of his.

he runs great routes? he runs a slant, and a hitch and go, and thats about it. he's a zone beater. fighting for balls is instinctive, its a mindset, not something you learn. whats the lesson? "hey when you see the ball, jump up and catch even if theres a guy in the way?" he has build up speed, but he needs a lane for it to matter because he's not elusive or sudden. his hands are good, but he is prone to disastrous drops on high balls.Milkman said:He runs great routes, has huge hands, has an above average vert, he's very fast, and coaches have raved about how teachable he is. Well I'm not as good at looking at tape as some people but as soon as I read the article I looked at some tape of one game and I see him beat man coverage many times. One play was a hitch and go but I don't understand why that's a bad thing. All three defenders he beat should be playing in the NFL and one was a first round pick. He's playing against NFL caliber defenders all the time. Vandy lined him up everywhere and he showed the versatility to play well all over the field. That's going to help him get open to. I don't think I'm going to change your mind though. You just wrote an article basically saying he sucks. I enjoyed reading it but I disagree.he runs great routes? he runs a slant, and a hitch and go, and thats about it. he's a zone beater. fighting for balls is instinctive, its a mindset, not something you learn. whats the lesson? I understand with the draft, free agency, injuries, etc it is a little difficult, but you could start with no rookies and assuming all FA resign with current teams and players come back healthy and then adjust it accordingly.....would love to see some initial redraft thoughts heading into next year.....update on redraft rankings?Sigmund Bloom said:dynasty rankings are up right nowtravdogg said:Are the very very early redraft and dynasty rankings going to be free again this year? I'm not sure why they would update redraft rankings during the offseason... so much happens between now and September that they'd be pretty much useless at this point.bump for possible answerupdate on redraft rankings?dynasty rankings are up right nowAre the very very early redraft and dynasty rankings going to be free again this year? i don't know.....maybe cause the last time i checked this was a fantasy football site......many other sites have them out there already for offseason discussion purposes.....and some places like the Mock Draft Forum here have drafts going on.....and it allows to see what the pros think about who moved up the rankings and down after the 2013 season.....I'm not sure why they would update redraft rankings during the offseason... so much happens between now and September that they'd be pretty much useless at this point.bump for possible answerupdate on redraft rankings?dynasty rankings are up right nowaAre the very very early redraft and dynasty rankings going to be free again this year? It seems pretty useless as values are so fluid right now. Teams will be drafting, depth charts are an unknown. Waste of time IMO. You may want to look into dynasty leagues.i don't know.....maybe cause the last time i checked this was a fantasy football site......many other sites have them out there already for offseason discussion purposes.....and some places like the Mock Draft Forum here have drafts going on.....and it allows to see what the pros think about who moved up the rankings and down after the 2013 season.....I'm not sure why they would update redraft rankings during the offseason... so much happens between now and September that they'd be pretty much useless at this point.bump for possible answerupdate on redraft rankings?dynasty rankings are up right nowaAre the very very early redraft and dynasty rankings going to be free again this year? I agree with this. Most redraft rankings which assume no movement and don't include rookies would look very very similar to dynasty rankings at this point anyway, so there's no reason to even waste the effort to do them.It seems pretty useless as values are so fluid right now. I'm in a few redraft leagues where you can keep anywhere from 1 to maybe 3-5 players....so not full blown dynasty mostly a redraft format....we have offseason owner activity, trades, etc......I see very little harm, in a site dedicated to fantasy football, coming out with an initial framework of redraft rankings and then adjusting accordingly based on FA movement and the draft....in fact I think it would be kind of interesting to see where say Decker is assuming he stays and then where they would place him if he signs in say Carolina or something...I would think there would be some significant differences in dynasty/redraft rankings, but I guess I could be wrong....and if I am wrong, then there actually wouldn't appear to be a ton of effort needed, if only making a few tweeks to a dynasty ranking.....renesauz said:I agree with this. Absolutely.imo....redraft rankings for a fantasy football website should be an ongoing, year long thing, that gets adjusted as changes (FA/draft) come up......
I'd be willing to bet if FBG put out an "early redraft ranking" article.....it would get quite a few hits, maybe more than any other article.....I bet almost everyone on here would stop in and take a peek....let alone the outside traffic it would generate for people like me who Googled "2014 fantasy football redraft rankings"....for business purposes it would seem to make sense for FBG....redraft rankings are the heart and soul of fantasy football....

Hi rude,I see Rotoworld has stared posting its dynasty rankings. Might be nice if FBGs would make theirs available in the offseason to non-subscribers, like they have in years past.
