Forgetting Sarah Marshall (1 Viewer)

Saw this last night:

1. First and foremost, the two girls in this movie are two of the cutest/hottest/prettiest girls I've ever seen. Talking Megan Fox in Transformers and Cuthbert in Girl Next Door upper echelon of "I can barely handle it" hotness. I was on a date, and it was almost impossible to not let out a few "woah"'s. My God.

2. On that note, way to much male frontal nudity. I mean, wtf?

3. The movie hit a little too close to home for those who have gone through big emotional break-ups. Although it was nice to say "at least I'm not that guy."

4. The movie was very funny and well done. Some stretches of reality like the main character Shane Lechlering the entire movie, but hey, it's a movie.

4.5/5 - only for the gratuitous male nudity.

Marking this to rent when it comes out on DVD to my local redbox.

movie theaters sux0r, and paying $1.08 for the movie > $8-9

Dentist, I'd say go ahead and blow the extra $20 for the ticket and popcorn. This is a movie you want to see in a crowded theatre.I hate the whole theatre thing myself, but there are so many bellylaughs and lines that drew gasps in this one ("I just went from six to midnight") that it heightens the experience to share it with everyone else.

It'll be funny on DVD, but it's the best comedy I've seen in a few years -- see it with a bunch of other laughing people, and think about how much damage they're doing to their choppers with the popcorn and soda.

I finally saw it last night and it was funny but not up to Knocked Up, 40 Year Old Virgin, SuperBad etc. levels

Saw this Saturday night and laughed my ### off. FSM destroys KU, is on par with the first half of 40YV (the funny half) and is as good, if not funnier that SB.

its finally available online as well. quality is poor though. almost unwatchable. hopefully, they'll have a better version up later this week so i can finally see it.

Thought FSM was absolutey hysterical. Great writing. Though agree with others - between Walk Hard and FSM I've seen all the johnson's I want to see in a year...

Remember when Elisha Cuthbert and Mila Kunis did a maxim photo shoot together? that was a pretty good day.

I didn't think was as funny as the FFA told me it was going to be.

i laughed, there were funny parts, but definitely one of the weakest apatow films.

 this movie was badly overrated

Hmm... I'm torn now, I was going to rent this tonight, but my fellow Gemini who sees eye to eye with me on Slapshot being one of the greatest comedies of all time says that this movie is overrated, I might have to rethink this. How hot is Kunis in this again?

:goodposting: I said this in the 'underrated comedy' thread bc I think it was the OP here said it was the best ApatowI think its the worst Apatow, maybe as good as Knocked Up since that falls off towards the end, but it being the worst Apatow doesnt mean it wasnt 'good'I just cant believe the amount of ppl saying it was great and probably Apatow's best in this thread. If anything, I thought it had less laugh out loud moments than the other movies, but was as strong/stronger in other areas (like having Kunis in it since shes hotter than Heigl, Keener, etc.)

Absolutely the best she's ever looked on filmShe went from a 7.6 (celeb wise) to about a 9.2

I think in about 5 years she might be even looking better

She looks pretty hot in the Max Payne previews.

I guess I was the only one.

Watched it again tonight, and I may have been downplaying it a bit, but theres a lot of stretches where its just like 'when is something funny going to happen again?'

Its good, and I would now say I put it on par with Knocked Up, but no way its 40YOV or Superbad good

Ok, I'm 20 minutes into this thing.., had to put my chips and dip away after the male nudity (no reason for that at all) and have only laughed once, when Sarah asked what he was doing in the hotel and he said he was there to kill her.

Enter Kunis, so the scenery just got better (Bell is hot too).

Ok, the Dracula song and the black bartender are very funny.
Like I said earlier,I watched it again tonight, and whether I didnt think it was quite as good/too drunk when I first watched it, Im not sure, but it has its momentsI think theres a few too many 10 minute spans where nothing all that funny happens, but its goodAnd if you want to compare it to your typical Kate Hudson or Matthew McConaghey romantic comedy, FSM is like paintin the porcelain - the shiitee

I thoroughly enjoyed this when it came out. Hilarious. I plan to rent it for another evening of giggles. And I loved the full frontals. You just don't ever see enough of that. Made the scene way more realistic.

(no reason for that at all)
There actually is, and I'm not surprised that you're too slow to understand.
Mmm.. No, no there is no reason. NTTAWWT Frenchy.
You appeal for reinstatement at :e:? I can pass your app. up to my boss...llo
 Nah, you keep it bro, you need it more than me. Tell your boss hi for me, he said he has all my info now. I wonder if he came up here when he was gone for a few months...

After watching this again last night, I really want someone to do that Dracula puppet theatre. I'd pay good money to go see it.

YOu missed the point there friend. They're together. In bikinis. AND FUR. They're primed for a 3-way. Dude, look at them. they want it.

It was good and definitely worth the rental and deserves to be in your DVD collection...but best ever and all that nonsense is going way, WAY overboard.

The wife and I watched it tonight. It was a good Friday night popcorn movie. A lot of funny moments, but some seemed forced and set up. Some of the characters were just thrown in almost like an SNL sketch. Kristen Bell is just amazing, but then again, I have this thing for short blondes.

Overall a good movie that may get better with a rewatch. We had a bunch a free PPV tickets, so free is always good.

I find movies much more enjoyable if I avoid reviews and go in with low expectations.

:bag: excellent philosophyI went into this movie with high expectations based on friends 'reviews', and it disappointed. Then I watched it again, and I enjoyed it more than the first time bc I wasnt 'expecting' stuff, just watching..To me, another great example was 'Righteous Kill'...I went in with 'meh' expectations (based on previews) and didnt really see/hear any reviews. I liked the movie a lot. Came back to my comp and realized its stupid to see what ppl think first hand bc its solid but it got trashed bc its not "Heat 2" or "Serpico Returns"

I agree 100% with this post. Good as far as romantic comedy's go, but not as funny as the other movies mentioned.

Mila Kunis was on Kimmel last night. She is now in my top 1. :goodposting:   She looked smoking hot, lost her voice yelling obscenities at the Dodgers game and is a huge WoW player. :goodposting:
