Over the recent years I have steered clear of NEP players on my team because of uncertainty with their week to week use; too many times I feel that Belichick tries to reinvent the wheel. I've had Welker (dropped him because we weren't a PPR league, then we went to it 
), Watson, Branch, and various RB's over the years but more often then not I find no peace of mind owning these players, as compared to players on other teams; too much volatility. Last week I picked up Branch (again), needless to say I am kicking myself; I passed on D. Moore, D. Nelson, N. Washington, N. Burleson, and others, by looking at his targets and the fact that I think Brady might throw for 1,000 yards in a game by the time this season is finished. With Branch's not so stellar performance (or really lack of use), I find myself wanting to double down and pick up Ridley; am I a sadist, or just an idiot. I read with earnest, the thread last year hoping to divine the code of the week-to-week use of Gronkowski (I do own him in a redraft league this year, so far so good) and Hernandez, secretly enjoying that I had steered clear of that mess. I have also been caught up in previous NE RB joys like Taylor, Morris, and BJGE but only from an interested bystander sort of way. What makes me think that Ridley can supplant BJGE and also make NE's running game viable, something that it really hasn't been since Brady arrived? What makes me think that Belichick is going to have anymore clarity in his week-to-week use of his players? Welker is by far the best option on this team and you still have #### like him going from a 12, 13.5, 25, 17.5, and 15 points in weeks 10-14 last year, to a 5.5, then a 2.5, in the FF playoffs; that alone must of sunk a few seasons. I've watched more than a few get burned by Ochocinco this year. While this might seem like a AC topic, it is really about the stability that can be placed on any NE player not named Brady.
