Greeting, fellow fantasy footballers!
As you can tell, I am new to the football guys site, but I am not new to fantasy football. My first experience with it was when I was in the Army, stationed in Korea in 1991, waiting for the Stars & Stripes to be delivered to the barracks on Monday so we could compute the scores by hand!!!
Anyway, I have become bored with the standard redraft league that I'm in, and I want a greater challenge. Using the Great Google, I searched the web and used the better ideas that I saw and I wrote bylaws for a dynasty league with a salary cap and contracts, escalating salaries, franchise tags, rookie drafts, a rookie wage scale, and free agency...
But I need help. Of all the people that I have been in leagues with, only four of them have agreed to join my new league. I would like a league of 16 teams, where the divisions will be realigned every year to keep the competition fresh. I would like to get this league starting as soon as possible, so we can have a live offseason this year.
Highlights: Starting Lineup will consist of 11 players as follows: 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 RB/WR Flex, 1 K, 1 DL, 1 LB, and 1 DB. Roster: 25 active and 5 injured reserve.
For this season, the only cost involved will be the site fees (I would like to start right away on myfantasyleague.com, I've read great things about this site). Any additional fees (such as prize fund) will need to be agree upon by a 2/3 owner votes majority.
Anyway, if you would like to read the bylaws, shoot me an email at dynastyleagueff2013@gmail.com and I'll send you a copy. If you like them and would like to join, I'll add your info to the list. Once I reach 8 owners (4 more), I'll set up the leagues and send out invites. First come, first served.
