Forte injury? (1 Viewer)

He came back in the game, but did he get hurt again?

Been hearing he got hurt and it could jeopardize him playing next week but have not really seen anything I would trust just yet.

Any homers hearing anything?

I saw this on CBS but can't find more details anywhere else

Chicago running back Matt Forte was bent back awkwardly at the end of an 11-yard run on the Bears' winning drive Week 3 against the Seahawks. He spent the last few plays running in place on the sideline, trying to get loose, as Adrian Peterson replaced him. Forte, who had 66 yards on 21 carries as he continues to grind through a slow opening month, limped some in the locker room following an extended, postgame treatment session. Forte, who also had a team-high six receptions for 40 yards, had a wrap on his left leg.

Fantasy Analysis

The Bears chose not to elaborate on Forte's injury after the game, so they are probably waiting to run some tests before divulging any further information. If this injury turns out to be bad, it will just add further insult to any already disappointing start for Forte, who is still searching for his first touchdown. We say don't give up on Forte, who was a high-end first-round draft pick in most Fantasy formats. Keep tabs on his status leading up to Week 4 against the Lions. Forte had 37 carries for 162 yards and one touchdown in two games against Detroit last season.

Matt Forte's return during Sunday's game was supposed to be questionable following a first-quarter knee injury, but he was right back on the field after absorbing the blow.

"I went inside and got taped, so I was straight," Forte said. "That's part of football: You have to play hurt. You've got to be smart about it. But if you can play, you play.

"(The knee) doesn't feel natural, but you still have to go out there and make the most of it."

Forte got hit on the side of his left knee, likely by Seahawks cornerback Ken Lucas. The Bears running back finished the game with 66 yards on 21 carries, averaging 3.1 yards per carry. It wasn't exactly the outing Forte had hoped for as the Bears entered the game 31st in rushing (64.5 yards per game).

"We were getting close to popping one here and there today," Forte said. "Part of that is on me. I've got to break a few tackles. I've got to make something happen.

"Once I make a little move, I have to gain 20, 30 yards. I have to pop the big one."

they don't seem to be talking about this on Chicago sports talk. im sure if it was serious they would be talking about this all morning.

Same here, been listening all morning in which they spent a good amount of time talking about Forte and how he hasn't done well. No mention of injury.
