Forte or Bust? (2 Viewers)

Can you really consider sitting Forte this week, and if so, for who? Chicago is a train wreck, and Forte has to go up against the Lions #1 run D! Forte didn't do much against Detroit on Thanksgiving, but the brilliant Bears coaching staff didn't give it to him either. They conceded the run, basically taking it out of his hands, and we all know how well that worked out!

Now the brilliant staff is benching Cutler. Really? This can not bode well for any of the Bears starters. The Lions know Forte will have to get most of the action, and they will be ready to stop him on every play. The Lions D are already the best at stopping the run, just think how dominating they will be, knowing it is coming!

It will be extremely hard to trust Forte this weekend, with a championship on the line. I am seriously thinking of playing Jonathon Stewart in his place. Wow, I never thought that would be a possibility!

The Bears are truely a nightmare right now!

Is Jimmy Checkdown good enough to even do that right? I would bet against it. You also have to take into account that there are players on this team who have flat out quit. Some of them might be linemen.

You're right. Clausen is not good. I just wouldn't sit a proven stud like Forte unless I were absolutely stacked at RB.

Same choice for me. Really struggling. Another factor is I have Alshon for sure starting. Cringing at the prospect of starting 2 bears this week.

It is a tough choice this week. I could not sit him either. I would hope for around 12 points in ppr. I view him as a Hill/Ingram type this week.

I don't see how you sit him. He's been great overall this year and I don't think the dip from Cutler to Clausen is that steep. He should get plenty of screens and check down looks. Really can't see him not reach 100 total yards.

Starting him over Lamar Miller, Tre Mason, and Crowell. Would also start him over guys like Randle, Knile Davis, Jeremy Hill, Matt Asiata, etc. So, unless you have a slew of top ten options, I can't see how you can bench him.
