Franchise and Transition tags in the NFL? (1 Viewer)

I was just wondering if anybody knew if the NFL allows a franchise tag and Transition tag to be used the same year?

Is it one or the other? Or can you designate a franchise tag to one player and a transition tag to another player?

Or just one tag?

I believe a team gets use of ONE type of tag only: exclusive franchise tag, non-exclusive franchise tag, or transition tag. With the advent of the poison-pill clauses in transition tags, I doubt we will see use of that much anymore.
