Frank Gore: The 2010 Draft Impact (1 Viewer)

PPR leagues:

Singletary has talked about lightening his load and I've seen Spiller mocked there in a few places [which I think is a great fit]. However, that means Gore , like most RB's that progress through their careers, becomes less of a part of the passing game. Being part of the passing game is something that leads to him being that Round 1 player.

Any thoughts to what his pre-draft/post-draft value will look like? Anyone buying/selling? What are you getting in return?

Each of the last two years I've wanted to trade away Gore while his value was high, but each of the last two years I was glad I didn't. I'm not sure why I keep thinking he's going to have a short window of productivity.

I will move Frank Gore this offseason... if he's part of a deal that nets me MJD, ADP, CJ3, Ray Rice, Fitz, Andre, or Calvin in return. Maybe Aaron Rodgers. Otherwise, he's staying put.

Last offseason I was trying to trade him in a deal for Calvin but just couldn't work it out. This year I may go for Rodgers, but not sure it makes sense for me (I have Brady).

I've never owned Gore, but it feels like the "Frank Gore is about to lose significant value" train has been in full effect for the better part of the past 2 years. The guy will only be 27 this year, and barring injury there's no reason he won't have 3 more highly productive seasons. I think Singletary throwing out comments about needing to lighten his load is all smoke and mirrors.

You are probably thinking his 2 knees injuries in college have to catch up with him sometime. I'm riding him for the duration. He still has a few solid years ahead.

i dont think it's all downhill from here on out with Gore (i say 1 top-10 season left), but i did trade him in 2 leagues this offseason. One for Beanie package and the other for Greg Jennings (i have 4 starting RBs in this league so i could afford it).
