Frank Gore (1 Viewer)

In my league he finished as RB6, but on a point per game basis, he was actually 2nd behind Chris Johnson on a per game basis.

Does anybody see him as someone who is in the discussion to be as high as RB3 or RB 4 next year? I've typically seen him as ranked around 10th player overall.

It is the same thing with Gore every year. He is like an enticing apple, and then you taste it and he disappoints. He never quite reaches expectations.

CJ, AD, MJD, Rice likely to be top 4 in almost every draft, then Gore will go in the 5-8 range. Not really underrated.

As a Gore owner, I was far from disappointed this season. In fact, quite the opposite, I was extremely pleased with his performance. He dominated for me this year. He exceeded expectations by a huge margin.

:goodposting: Gore was solid for me this year, very consistent.

I got Gore at late second round in two drafts and I was extremely happy when I left both drafts. IIRC that was probably right around his ADP. No way does he go that low next year. If anything, he will be drafted right where he should be. Now if some of my fellow owners get jackked up on Arian Foster, Jammal Charles, or Jerome Harrison, I might just be able to Gore my opponents.

Gore should be 4th or 5th off the board IMO in any format. He's the bellcow of the offense but they need a little more stabilitry on the line and more consistent QB play for him to get more TDs. A full year with Crabtree on the offense will help though as he'll help move the chains and keep drives alive.

The great thing about him is he's one of the few 3 down backs that doesn't come of the field. Some people might put SJax above him but I think he'll go in the top 5 or 6 in the vast majority of drafts next year.

:lmao: How could a guy who will likely go in the top 5 be underrated? Sure he could put up the 3rd or 4th best RB numbers, but that's hardly value (1 or 2 slots above his ADP is now a steal?)I don't think Gore is/will be underrated at all. He finished just outside the top 5 RBs and will be drafted as such in most 2010 leagues.

I would move him down a tick or so as the 49's appear to be going to the spread more with Crabtree and Davis, I think you see more passing yards and td's overall from the passing game.

I don't see the spread helping Gore, so I would rate him in the 8-10 range for RB's

if they can move the ball it may result in more td's as well as more running room on the carries he gets.

Its just that I've seen a lot of people saying he should be taken around 9-10, as if he is a borderline first round pick, when it seems like his talent and situation merits him going higher than that. And further, why is it that nobody is considering him for no. 2 or 3 overall? His numbers this year would appear to potentially justify it.

Until this offense improves, he will probably be drafted where he should be drafted.

Therefore, bump him up if you see the offense improving next year.

I agree, the Jacksonville offense is a monster
I usually get most people's jokes and witicisms on these boards, but I don't get this post. Are you saying Gore is going to play for Jacksonville next year? Please explain, I'm missing something. I want to laugh if it's supposed to be funny.

I think the bad joke is in reference to MJD being thought of as a higher pick despite being on a weak offense.Anyway, I loved Gore this year. With a first round bye and a week 17 championship, I'll take these last two games:W16: 28/71/1, 4/81W17: 23/107/2, 2/25

Gore averaged 4.2 catches a game over the last 10, which would result in a 67 catch season. Also, last I heard, he was averaging over 6 yards per carry out of the shotgun. Most importantly, San Fran has been running the spread over the entire last half of the season, and Gore has been an uberstud. He's second in fantasy points since week 8, behind Chris Johnson and ahead of such uber-studs as Rice/MJD/Peterson and such stretch-run heroes as Jamaal Charles and Jonathan Stewart. His PPG would pro-rate to 275 over 16 games, which would have ranked him in the top 3 in any of the past 3 seasons. No reason at all to believe that the spread will hurt Gore.
How underrated could he be? He's scored the 4th most fantasy points by a RB since 2006.
Reasonably underrated, since we have some people putting him at the bottom end of the top 10.

One thing I worry about is San Fran's switch towards more of a spread offence to cater to Alex Smith, I think alot depends on their QB situation in the offseason but I like Gore and had it not been for injuries he'd be one of the top backs this year.
