FREAKING PACMAN JONES! (1 Viewer)

At a Murfreesboro, TN rap bar. Something about public intox and disorderly conduct in the wee hours of this morning. Yelling at a woman he was with who had lost her purse with his wallet in it.

Just breaking on the local TV stations here in Nashville.

Unbelievable! (then again....maybe not)

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

(I'm sure links will come up later this morning. Just be patient)

That's his biggest mistake... giving a woman his wallet.

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -- Tennessee Titans cornerback Pacman Jones was arrested outside a bar early Friday and charged with disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

According to the police report, officers saw Jones arguing loudly with a woman outside a nightclub where a rap concert had been held.

Jones, 22, was described by police as slurring his speech, having bloodshot eyes and smelling strongly of alcohol.

The arrest came at 1:34 a.m. CT, the day after the Titans broke training camp.

Jones had already been excused from Friday's team schedule for personal reasons, according to The Tennessean.

Jones was arguing with a woman he accused of stealing his wallet inside the club and passing it to one of her friends, according to police.

Officers said they ordered Jones to leave several times, but he refused and continued to shout profanities.

Jones was released from custody in lieu of $750 bond.

The Titans did not immediately return a telephone message by The Associated Press, seeking comment.

Earlier in the week, Jones had talked about buying approximately 60 tickets for family and friends to watch him play against his hometown team, the Atlanta Falcons, Saturday night.

Almost three months after the Titans made him the sixth overall pick in the 2005 draft, Jones was arrested after an incident at a nightclub. The charges were later dismissed.

Thug fo' life!

WVU is obviously turning out better athletes these days -- Chris Henry and Pacman Jones have rap sheets that compare favorably to any young player from Miami, Oklahoma or any other perennial NCAA power.

I'd be upset too if some I thought I had lost my wallet (or had it stolen) and the cops wouldn't help me in finding out who has it. I can only imagine how much money a kid that brash carries with him.

This charge is such BS. He got arrested for arguing at a club, big deal
100% agreed. This is small potatoes compared to 99% of the other arrests happenning in the NFL. Come on, he was arguing loudy. He was drunk at a bar.

He didn't hit the woman and I am assuming she wasn't underage, and no drugs were found on him or her. The way I read it, he wasn't driving drunk either. Camp just broke. He made a bad choice obviously, but come on now. Arrested?

Sounds to me like an overzealous cop. Any police out there? Would you arrest a player on your hometown team for something like this? I would talk him down calmly, and make sure he got home safe. Maybe it's just me. I bet that this doesn't stick.

Anything that = stupid and Pacman Jones doesn't surprise me. Pacman = idiot and what pacman does = stupid. There, plain and simply put...

I could care less why he was arrested. Could have been jay walking for all I care.

To me it speaks to his maturity level or lack of.

As a team-mate it just tells me his head is not on Football.

He can't seem to follow basic rules.

Not a guy you can trust.

TRUST...is a big part of a Football team.

Why do you think coaches like Bill Parcells forbid his players from going to these places late at night.

Pro Football Players are targets..plain and simple.

Maybe I am overly conservative and old fashioned.

You're not thinking. He looked drunk and smelled strongly of alcohol, and was belligerent. Nevertheless, the police first asked him to leave. He refused to leave and remained belligerent. They arrested him. What was inappropriate here?

It's not inappropriate for the cop to arrest him, just like it's not inappropriate to get a speeding ticket for going 57 in a 55. The point is, this arrest is nothing. Pacman was drunk and thought the woman took his wallet. They argued and thats it. He obviously wanted to continue the argument (or get his wallet back) and the cop disagreed. He didn't hit the cop or the woman or shoot a gun in front of the White House.

How many times have you been arrested? I'm putting the over/under at 4.

Zero actually. I have seen drunk people argue before and really don't think its a big deal. I guess that's where we differ.

word.i never said inappropriate, just overzealous. drunk or not sounds like had reason to be upset if his wallet was missing.

You play for the Titans? Sweet. Can you give us some inside scoop on the whole Lendale/Henry/Brown situation?

Maybe I am overly conservative and old fashioned.
Yeah, maybe.

Can on everyone......Poor PacMan is clearly being picked on.

He's good people.
Im not all they way to that side of the argument at all. But I am most definitely not on the side that says string him up and lable him a thug. There was just an article about the guy floating around the shark pool and I have an informed opinion about the guy. It was a positive story.http://forums.footballguys.com/forum/index...4&hl=pacman

I am in the middle here. He made a bad decision and let his blood boil over after having a few beers. He is of age to drink legally, and was not ignoring any responsiblities to the Titans (besides making them look bad as an organization, but #### happens ya know?). I have read a few positive things about him and think he may just be immature.

Every read something positive about Chris Henry? lol, me either. string this guy up waaay before Jones.

As much as Ive #####ed about PacMan's character in the past year, this is a non-story. Davidson Co.(Where Nashville is) police have been seriously cracking down on any sort of alcohol related incidents, and there have been alot of arrests made of people in this situation.

Doesn't make PacMan a better or worse person than he was 2 days ago.

Still cant believe they took this clown over Rolle.

Have a feeling they will regret taking Young over Leinert this year.

He is pure ghetto.

When you look up the word Hoodrat, Pacmans mug is right next to it. This guy is going to have a very short career. They took him over A. Rolle didn't they? LMAO, what a huge error in judgement that was. Lendale will join him too in the anals of great talent, but peanuts for brains. The Titians are wasting picks on these wonderful chracter guy's. You have to have some type of upbringing to be a great pro in this league. these 2 knucklehead obviuosly did not.

This isn't an AOL chat room. And the guy just got drunk and was mad at his dumb female friend for losing his wallet, so get off your high horse already.

If you, mrspree15, got arrested for this, I would not think you're a moron. But Adam Jones (forget the stupid nickname stuff) is a football player, so it's different. If I was in the NFL and I was 22 years old, I guarantee you I would be in bed at 9pm and up at 5am to go to the film room & the gym. I would not set foot in a bar from July till January or February. There is enough time for bar hopping during the offseason or after your freakin NFL career. What a dumb &*!$.

this i can see. but to each his own. i think the guy screwed up, but not as bad as people make it out to be.

haha thank you for your faith in me. But you've never stayed out too late on a work night, especially when you were young? He was excused from Friday's schedule, so he went out to a bar. He's not a football robot, he wants to have a some kind of life for more than 4 months a year. He may be a "dumb &*!$," but I don't think this situation confirms or denies that.

Jones will end up being a better pro than Rolle..
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: not only is this clown an underachiever between the lines, he's a public embarassment to the franchise. It's the double whammy. You think the Titans would even have this idiot on their draft board if they knew he was this much of a clown?
