I started every game since my 10th-grade year of high school," Smoot said. "That was the first time I had to sit and watch my team go play without me. So I think that really humbled Fred Smoot. "
Sounds really humble to me :lmao: Link to whole story

If he didn't get humbled when Steve Smith abused him for over 200 yards, the guy will never be humbled.

My favorite Fred Smoot quote, "75 percent of the world is covered by water. The rest is covered by Smoot."

Actually that's an old Baltimore Orioles advertisement from the Home Team Sports network, referring to the Orioles outfield of Steve Finley, Mike Devereaux, and I can't remember the third guy.

I originally heard it about Garry Maddox.

That's where I heard it.I had him in Strat-O-Matic and I used to say it everytime a cf(X) came up.

'Skins fans have been pointing to this quote wondering whether he regrets leaving the team:

"You're like, 'I had the perfect thing going in Washington,' " Smoot said after the Vikings ended a three-day minicamp Monday. "But once you make a decision, you live with it. You tough it out. I've been in tough spots before. ... You judge a man by how you dig yourself out of that hole, and I'm going to dig myself up out of that hole and keep on going."
