About the Leagues:
The Incredible Organization of Leagues for Fantasy Football Junkies is a group of free dynasty leagues that play under the same scoring system and similar rules. Each league has a 14 week regular season with 4 teams making the playoffs. The league championship is played in week 16. Each league champion then plays against all other league champions in the Incredi-Bowl during week 17 to the Super Bowl to determine an overall champion. Most leagues are now run on AOL.com. There is also a forum for league owners to interact. Owners are allowed to play in multiple leagues if they wish.
About the Scoring System and Starting Lineups:
touchdown <0-49 yds long either passing, rushing, receiving, or returning> = 6 pts
touchdown <50-110 yds long either passing, rushing, receiving, or returning> = 12 pts
field goal <0-49 yds long> = 3 pts
field goal <50-110 yds long> = 6 pts
two-point conversion <either passing, rushing, or receiving> = 2 pts
extra point = 1 pt
passing yardage = 1 pt for each 100 yards passing + 1 pt for each 300 yards passing. (example 310 yds passing = 4 pts.)
rushing yardage = 1 pt for each 50 yards rushing + 1 pt for each 100 yards rushing. (example 167 yds rushing = 4 pts)
receiving yardage = 1 pt for each 50 yards receiving + 1 pt for each 100 yards receiving. (example 121 yds receiving = 3 pts)
Starting Lineups include 1 PK, 1 QB, 1 RB, 1 TE, 1 WR and usually 2 to 4 flex players (RB, TE, and/or WR)
About Me:
I've been running fantasy football leagues since 1984. I've been running them online since 1998. This will be the first year I will be using AOL.com to run the leagues. Previously, I did all the work myself and posted it on the league forum. I consider myself a fair commissioner. I'm always open for suggestions on how to make the leagues better, though, because the leagues need to maintain continuity, changes that would affect all leagues are thoroughly considered before implemented, if they are implemented. Also, most rule changes are usually made several months to a year before they are implemented to give owners time to adjust/prepare to the changes.
Owners needed for:
All currently available teams are listed below. Once new ownership is found for those teams, expansion of a new league or two might be considered if there is enough interest. I will keep this post updated with available teams as they are claimed or become available. View the league forum http://hamiltonia.proboards20.com/ to see the complete rulebook and most updated openings with team rosters and draft picks/positions listed for each team.
