First of all, the league uses the "max" or "XL" offensive format of 2 QBs, 3 RBs, 4 WRs (and the usual single TE and K).
Secondly, it also employs a 3-4-4 IDP format so that eleven defensive players start. This is also a "max" IDP format and encourages in-depth knowledge of defensive players.
Finally, because this is a Yahoo league, all this means that there is only a very small "bench" or reserve slots on the roster which means there is going to be a very high turnover of players on waivers which will encourage very active owners.
All this is perhaps a little ambitious to attempt in a Yahoo free league, but I'm going to have a shot at it. Hope you can join me!
