Freeman for AJ Green (1 Viewer)

12 team redraft. Non ppr. All tds 6 points. Rbs get 12 points for receiving tds. 

Im 6-0 and not sure if I should pursue this or not. I have been offered AJ Green for Freeman straight up. My team:

Wentz, Mariotta

Hunt, Fournette, Freeman, Martin, Smallwood, West

Hill, Fitz, Thielan, Garcon 

Gronk, Witten

We start 1 qb, 2 rb, 2 wr, 1 te, 1 flex rb,wr, te 1 K, 1 D

I’m a believer in if it ain’t broke don’t fix it, but I’m seriously mulling this over. I like Freeman’s upside every week to catch a td but he’s frustrating to own. You never know when he gets pulled for Coleman and it’s usually after he’s getting in his groove after a few good runs. Green and Dalton appear to be back in sync and with Eifert out could see more red zone targets. I tried offering Martin and a WR of his choice for Green and was countered with Freeman.

Id take AJ over freeman given you have Hunt/Fournette & Martin.

This is the exact reason why you stockpile RB depth, so you can acquire a stud somewhere else.  Its a fair deal that helps you a good bit.  

Old lineup:   Hunt/Fournette        Hill/Fitz      Freeman

New lineup:  Hunt/Fournette       Hill/Green      Martin

I had a similar situation in a league of mine where I had all the RB depth (Zeke, Hunt, Gurley, Martin, Lynch).  I tried acquiring Brown, Green, Jordy, even OBJ before injury.  I'd have flipped any of my top 3 for one of those WRs at the time.   I ended up trading a package including Martin to get Gronk, now Zeke is SUSP and yesterday I get an offer of Hunt for Evans...lol

Thanks for the response. That’s exactly how I feel about it as well. I want to use my depth to get better at a weaker position. Nice trades wiles!
