its the asian version of Blackish.
there are a few good laughs it seems to be getting better each episode

Growing up and living in middle America - the Middle has plenty of things that hit home to all of us in our family (19 yr. old and 11 yr. old), the Goldbergs hit plenty of sweet spots from childhood/those times.  Its family comedy, its not Mr. Show or Workaholics, yeah.

I can see identifying with The Middle.  My wife loves it.  But Goldbergs and Fresh are total bull #### when it comes to nostalgia.

You right on the lack of accuracy.  There is enough there to make it entertaining for us.  Beverly's outfits nail the stuff my wife wore (and I liked) back in the day.  Easy laugh material with just even that.

This show is much better than I thought it would be. The first episode I saw, I thought it was just annoying - especially the parents over the top voices. It's grown on me, though.  I don't care much about the nostalgia aspects of this one. It just makes me laugh out loud at least several times per episode. 

Oh, and they seem to be giving Honey a bigger role lately, which is nice.
