**Friday Night -Chiefs vs Chargers at Sao Paulo, Brazil**(+3, 46.5) 8:00 on YouTube (1 Viewer)

2 games in 2 days decided by teams not spying the QB that has been gashing them all night.

Baffling. I don't understand how you don't put a spy there. Are you dropping a safety deep? A scramble for a first is exactly the same as a 60-yard TD bomb for you.

It seemed pretty clear from the replays that Chris Jones was supposed to rush outside and contain but he instead turned inside. Jones blew it.

Mahomes actually had a good fantasy night especially since he lost Worthy so early. He only had two games better than this for fantasy last year. Could be a sign of better things to come there, especially if Worthy is not out too long and after Rice returns.

Definitely NOT a good thing
Great for Hampton shareholders.

I just let Najee go into the starry, starry night for Isaiah Bond.

Not ****ting you, Hot Sauce Guy. He gone. I really wanted to dump him for Brashard Smith and today cements me bidding on Smith because Pacheco was so unimpressive and Hunt is ancient. I haven't been a fan of Najee in a long, long time. I haven't liked him since he hurdled that guy at 'Bama. I hate plodders.

Seems clear neither the Chiefs O-Line or Chiefs D is coached nearly as well as their special teams unit is.

You think najee is gonna get 2 touches a game going forward? The guy missed all of camp and all Hampton could muster up was 7 pts
Didn’t say that. But it seems pretty clear who’s getting a chance to make an impression early on.

Sometimes that’s all it takes.
Well he didnt
He looked very good on a few carries. He ran out of bounds on a stupid carry.

I’d say it was a mixed bag. Pretty sure the Najee stans around here expected more than 2 carries.

This can’t be right. Pacheco with 5 carries?

He could be one of the bigger busts. Man - RB dead zone really is a thing. I missed him everywhere (by 1 pick 3x) and was ticked.

I have him in the subscriber contest.
:sadbanana:

I don't know if I'd chalk that up to RB dead zone. Pacheco was going in the same general are as guys like Pollard, Monty, Jones, and often Swift or even Conner.

I am glad that he and Hampton doing next to nothing softened the blow of starting AJ/Worthy for me.

Chargers are gonna be a problem if Herbert plays like this all season.

Herbert's healthy with an above-average receiving corps. This is one of the least surprising developments in the NFL.
Yeah not me I’ve loved him since he came out.

There is however a huge swath of folks that have been banging the not elite/what has he done/overrated drum for at least 2-3 years.

He’s a fun player to watch has such a live arm.

Things non-Chargers fans may not realize about Herbert:
  • This is only the 2nd time in 6 seasons that he has had the same OC 2 seasons in a row. So only the 2nd time he didn't have to learn a new offense.
  • He has played through a lot of injuries over the past few seasons. Right now, he is completely healthy. We haven't seen that a lot in recent seasons, and it makes a difference.

We agree on something. I've been a believer the whole time. My ten-team dynasty league has him and Josh Allen as my quarterbacks and I got Allen for a song so I couldn't say no. But I would have felt comfortable doing so with Justin.

I remember posting before last year about how underrated he was as a rusher, and being shot down by more than a few people.

The high ankle sprain really killed his scrambling last year. He’s not LJax. He is a very good scrambler. Reminds me a little of Steve Young.
