full side defense (1 Viewer)

I'm starting a 10 man dynasty league with 11 defensive players. Formations are:

4-3, nickel, dime, and a goaline which has 4 lb, 3 dt, 2 de and 2 safeties..I tweaked the scoring so the db's score the same and LB's avg about 4 pts more per week. Just wondering what kind of experience anyone has had with a full defense and if it's too much to keep track of...

Also, any mags or websites that rank defensive positions for drafting? All I see is 1-4 pages with cheatsheets for IDP in general..It seems like it would be bigger since more leagues have IDP now..

The scoring systems for leagues like this often become so specialized that a raw cheatsheet probably isn't your best option anyway. In my leagues, I use the cheatsheets (and our projections) as a template, break out the corners and undertackles, then tweak them for the scoring system.

Here's one more. 12 teams. 40 rounds. You can run a 3-4 or 4-3 (no one runs a 4-3). Must start two CB and two S.

I love it. It's just the next step in fantasy to me. I know there's leagues out there drafting punters and O-linemen, that may be the next step, but I'll be stuck on this one for a while. Way too much work for this guy. :loco:

It is more of a crapshoot than with offensive players, especially with cornerbacks. Because bad corners can have a great season, and then you figure, OK, I'll draft a bunch of CB2's, and Bailey goes bonkers.

This league gives points for returns, which I love, and increases the value of your Darrent Williams', Pac Man's, and McGee's.
