Hey Folks,
I have a spot in a league I'm running for a friend of mine. It's called the GLFFL - Joe Kapp League.
This league starts 2 QB's and is a small keeper league. The way that works is that you can keep 4 players who were drafted during last years draft. You can keep 1 each from the following set of rounds: 1-5, 6-10, 11-16 and 17-20. The 17th round is the first round rookies can be drafted from. Also, players can only be kept the year after they are drafted. BUT you do NOT lose the pick in the round the player was drafted. The draft rounds are only for deciding who can be kept.
Anyway, here are some particulars about this league.

League Fee is $85
12 Teams
20 Player Rosters
Starting lineups are 2 QB's, 1-2 RB's, 3-4 WR's, 1 TE, 1 K and 1 Def
Waivers run once a week from Sunday at 1 PM to Thursday at 1 PM. You can pick up a max of 4 players for the week.
Trading is allowed up until the week 11 games end. After that, no trading is allowed.
Anyway, I have one team for sale. It's called Giant Sloths (Team For Sale). This team has the 1.06 pick in the first round and the 17.06 pick in the first round rookies can be drafted.
It's current keepers are Knowshon Moreno (3.12), Tarvaris Jackson (7.12), Marshawn Lynch (14.06) & James Jones (19.10). The numbers in the paranthesis are the rounds those players were kept last year.
Yes, I know these are some crappy keepers. Unfortunately, the players that did well for this team, were players that had to be dropped back into the FA pile.
Although, if someone wants to take on the team, I'd be willing to allow you to look over the list of players that could have been kept, and make any changes you need to make. As long as you stick to the rules posted above about keepers. Here's a list of the players that were not kept, but could be. I've also put their draft round in (). So you can see which set of keeper rounds they can be kept in.
Rex Grossman (18.12)
Reggie Wayne (1.12)
Devone Bess (14.12)
Nate Burleson (9.07)
Malcom Floyd (16.01)
Robbie Gould (15.08)
Not much there other than Reggie Wayne.
Also, the draft will work this way. Each team drafts Veteran players only during the first part of the draft or the first 16 rounds. You must come out of this draft with enough players at each position to fill a full starting lineup. After that, we'll have the final 4 rounds, or rounds 17-20, where rookies may be drafted, at some point in August.
Anyway, if anyone would like to take on this team, please send an email to me at LoneWolf1023@aol.com. Please make sure you mention the GLFFL - Joe Kapp League and Giant Sloths so that I can put you on the right team.
PS. This is not one of my own leagues, but a league I'm running for the guy who runs the GLFFL.net group of leagues. He farmed out his specialty leagues and is only running his dynasty leagues.
