1. Every TD ever scored by Emmitt Smith or Walter Payton or Jim Brown or anyone else you want. Also, every TD pass by Brett Favre or Terry Bradshaw or whoever you want. And for Mike Herman, every field goal kicked by Rolf Benirschke!

2. Drafts by year (1997), by team (Jags), and by position (WR). Don't forget that the column headers are sortable so you can easily find the top passers of the 1986 draft class (Jim Everett, Mark Rypien, and Bubby Brister), or similar things. Go here to get started.

3. IDP stats for (some) players as far back as Ronnie Lott. Complete back to 1994. Semi-complete before that. Tackles are included on team pages (scroll down to the defense table) and year-by-year registers too. Read this for some fine print.

Thanks for such a great site, Doug. There is literally not one day I don't go there to check on something.

Kudos.

Thanks all. I love these new additions. But I really should mention:

Sean Forman::pro-football-reference = Randy Moss::Patriot Offense

Sep. 27, 1981 vs. Denver - kicked a 52 yarder when down by 28. I don't care what the quarter, down, and distance are... how do you line up for a FG attempt when you are down by four TDs? :thumbup: Thanks, Doug... hopefully this doesn't give me an aneurism.

With out a doubt my favorite site next to FBG's. Didnt know Doug was part of that site but kudo's to you sir, its absolutely fantastic.

Hands down the single best stat resource on the internet. Just got that much better. Mr. Drinen, you sir, are the t-ts.

Very cool...love that site and love this.

Fitting that I looked at Favre's today.

Last regular season TD to Bubba...last TD to Donald Lee.

Time to put my Simon Cowell hat on.

I think the layout redesign was poorly done. Its an eyesore. It reminds me of baseball-reference.com's terrible layout. It has the look of a site that isn't sure what it wants to be. Is it a news site? A stats site? A portal? When I look at the main page, my eyes should be directed to where you want me to look. When I go to the new main page, my eyes don't know where to go.

It feels like it wanted to resemble a newspaper layout in the way it uses isolated blocks of information in a million different font sizes, but it went horribly wrong somewhere.

I was speechless, so I had to consult the thesaurus...astonishing, awe-inspiring, awsome, beautiful, breathtaking, daunting, exalted, far out, formidable, frightening, grand, imposing, impressive, intimidating, magnificent, majestic, mind-blowing, moving, overwhelming, shocking, striking, stunning, stupefying, wonderful, wondrous
:sadbanana: You looking at that page must have been what it's like for the rest of us when we look at porn.

Awesome stuff. ;) And speaking of Rolf Benirschke and drafts by year, kudos for getting the correct draft order at the end of the 1977 draft (Benirschke before Kelleher). (Actually, I see that drafthistory.com has it corrected as well; they used to have it reversed. The Vikings had the second-to-last pick, but their clock expired so the Raiders moved ahead of them.)

Since I made this post, the website got another facelift. I have to say it looks a LOT better. Very nice job. I'm impressed.
