I created a list of guys I think are locks for the HOF....who am i missing on this list? http://fanzak.com/fzrants/Legends_of_the_Game
Alexander to the Redskins? by ZapsnapReported by 16 weeks ago. Reserve running back Ladell Betts suffered a mildly sprained left knee during the Washington Redskins' 19-17 loss to the St. Louis Rams on Sunday, and the team will audition former league MVP Shaun Alexander as a potential replacement.

As discussed in several HOF threads, given the talent and waiting list ahead of him Pace is not a lock either.Walter Jones, Johnathan Ogden, Orlando Pace. In that order. And Warner is far from a lock.
Moss is a lock no question. He has an outside shot at passing Rice in some major statistical categories if Brady can come back @ or close to 100%.I'd say Randy Moss is a lock. I know others take issue with the Oakland years, but if I recall one was moderately productive and the other was admittedly abysmal (though I think Oakland is rightly viewed as a graveyard for HOF talent). Plus having rehabbed his career over the past two years...and doing it with Cassel following his record setting year with Brady absolutley cements it in my opinion.
Not according to Peter King - who is a HOF voter. This was mentioned on a couple of Colts fan's blogs, and was talked about recently on the Steve Czaban show.I'd also say Harrison (Marvin) is a lock.
I would think Moss would be a lock - but some sportswriters are major #####es and may "punish" him for the leaving the field fiasco a few years ago and his stint in Oakland. Given that Cris Carter has been passed over 2 years in a row - I don't think any WR right now is a complete lock to make it.Moss is a lock no question. Moss is in another universe as compared to Cris Carter. As great as Carter's final numbers were, did you really ever think "man, this guy is just DOMINATING this league" - I sure didnt.I would think Moss would be a lock - but some sportswriters are major #####es and may "punish" him for the leaving the field fiasco a few years ago and his stint in Oakland. I agree with that. I'm saying that I don't trust sportswriters in terms of their agendas. Moss should be a 1st ballot guy without question IMO.Moss is in another universe as compared to Cris Carter. You mean the front running Moss that only tries when he's on a good team, or the quitter Moss that tanks it when the going gets tough ?I agree with that. Say what you want about Moss a a person, but he is one of if not the most dominant receivers since he broke into the league.
