haha. ya, we all know that ypc is static year to year....especially when they are a rookie with no camp coming off a knee surgery and then playing half a year with broken ribs with rookies manning most of the offensive skill positions. Looking at the past to predict the future without context and accounting for changes is poor / no analysis.
There's a very good chance that Richardson gets the most touches in the NFL next year. He's one of the few every down backs, he will get all the redzone/goal line touches and he has no one that can possibly challenge him for touches on the roster. Norv has a history of having successful backs that get tons of work...sleep on him at your own peril.
I have TRich in my keeper league and as of now he's healthy. As long as he can stay healthy to start the season, I don't see why he shouldn't improve his YPC from mid 3's to low 4's.
300 x 4.2 ypc = 1260 yard. That's 18 more points and maybe a couple more TDs because of the better YPC just going from 3.6 to 4.2.
It's all hypothetical, but the guy is healthy right now and if he stays that way, then Norv should run him and run him some more.
