Just trying to understand why he would be ranked so low? Mendenhall has shown nothing at all, most likely Willie is going to get the lions share of carries, I do not think you can count on him being hurt so I am unclear why he is ranked so low. Pittsburg has a solid line and a great defense which usually means someone getting a lot of rushing yards. I apologize if anyone else has brought this up, I never have any luck searching with my phone.

FWP should be a top 12 RB, at least in rushing yards. He will add some decent receiving yards and a half dozen TD's.

If Pittsburgh had a solid line, I think Parker would be ranked a lot higher on most boards.

If Pittsburgh had a solid line, I think Parker would be ranked a lot higher on most boards.

That o-line has been mediocre on its best days (and horrible too often) for two years.

I'm still very satisfied having FWP as my RB3/RB4. I think he's a tremendous value pick this year (based on ADP), and made it easy to focus on tier 1 WR's at the front of my draft.

Even if his line is mediocre he is going to finish above 26 (more like 10 to 15) the team will still be trying to kill the clock at the end of most games as the score will probably be low and Willie will be getting the bulk of those carries. Just mho

Seems about right. Sure, if the world aligns, he has a high ceiling, but he finished 16th in 2007 with 321 carries and finished 40th in 2008. He has only 7 TDs in 26 games over the last two years and last year he had 3 receptions in 11 games. Not that receiving is his bell cow, but in his best year (5th in 2006), he had 222 yards receiving and 3 TDs, so for him to be top 10, he can't get zilch receiving.Personally, I think his TDs are limited and receptions are limited, so in order to bet on him higher, he has to get 300+ carries and I don't know if that will happen. I like him because he is a starter and should get most of the carries, but as people noted, their line isn't any better and it has been 2 years of mediocre RB production in Pittsburgh even though Parker was the clear #1 RB when healthy.

That doesn't make TDs or even carries a safe bet. This is turning into a passing offense.

Honestly who cares where he is ranked by someone else. You need to form your own opinion. If you have FWP and think he will have a good game then you start him.
