Anyone know if there is any trend with FWP having bad games and Ward bening out of the game?

(Have not had time to look it all up my self yet)

i believe that hines ward has only missed 3 starts his entire career (10 yrs) . willie is in his 3rd year as the starter.

Agree that the sample size is too small to determine a correlation.Also, with the addition of Santanio Holmes this year, the first quality #2 the Steelers have had since Plaxico left town, any correlation from previous years, if there was any, must be taken with a grain of salt.

Good Points... Just Ward beening a great blocking WR was sticking in my mind.

Take this for what it is worth. Last week FWP broke two runs to the outside and had one guy to beat: the CB covering Nate Washington. In both cases Washington failed to block his man. I would be willing to bet that had Ward played he would have made those blocks and those two runs would have gone for much more than the 1 or 2 yards that FWP got.
