Aw ####, I'll be there too.  4th row right side.

But I kept thinking about that Segura line throughout this thread "I'm gonna go to the cops and straighten this whole thing out. You're gonna do 25-life, have fun with that"
Nice seats. We're in the middle (1 LC), but back in row X

I think she's lying. Why would he offer $200 for such a short ride? Brian & Gabby were apparently short on cash.
Agreed.  Here come all the posers out there who also want their 15 seconds of youtube fame.  Might be why the cops aren't sharing many details at all....they will get swamped with jackwagons that want to be heard and will cloud their efforts.

i think it’s a little odd, usually the police don’t want you saying anything so that the suspect isn’t getting any new information either

Could be, or maybe it’s true and he was trying to craft an alibi? He made sure to tell the driver he’d been camping by himself for a few days, and giving her $200 would make it more memorable. I dunno.

She posted it on tiktok right?

Police may not have seen it till it was out on the intergoogle.

People are weird.  From the information we have how can people be SO sure this dude did it that they're willing to go and camp outside his house all night picketing.

Also the "America's daughter" chants are even weirder.
This is in Florida right…that fact alone makes this less weird.

He's not even there.

I just told my wife 10 mins ago only reason for the family to call the police is because he took off and they fear he will do something to himself. Now he is missing. Side note...why do the police not have him under 24hr observation?

Has anyone mentioned here how both of them had some mental health issues and had stopped taking their meds?

Sorry, just trying to catch up in this thread...

I still think he has to be in on whatever is going on, whether that is murder or publicity stunt.  If they parted ways after a fight, it is hard to imagine him completely ignoring the texts of her mother.  The first two scenarios could cause him to ignore her family.  I'm speculating that Gabby did not have the true depression/courage required to kill herself.

America's daughter? Probably true in a sad way.

This would be an all time epic publicity stunt

Entire?   It's barely a story in Florida. If it wasn't for the ffa I wouldn't even know it was happening.

Every major news site is dropping like 4 new front page articles a day on this.  And, more importantly, posting them to social media.

And yet.....the two women shot dead, partially nude, not far from where these two were vamping get no headlines anymore.  No press.  No intrigue.  No coverage.

####ed up world we live in.

ABC covered that.  So did the Washington Post.

I guess logically you could argue the two dead people are already dead, so there’s nothing you can do for them, but the two missing people are maybe dead but maybe not dead.

I mean it is the home, so I get that piece of it.  A lot of these national parks you need reservations to enter with Covid and that certainly true of Yosemite where at a minimum you need say reservations to even get into the park.
Yosemite’s cell service is absolute crap as well.

There were also a bunch of fires in that area around that time and at one point California shut down all the state parks.

My daughter was hiking the Arches, Bryce and Zion August 4- August 9, no COVID protocols were in place at that time.  Although I do believe they had camping reservations.

Possible scenario: They argue, in her mania she gets out and walks off into the dark. Next morning she’s no where to be found. In light of the previous domestic incident he decides it’s best to just go home because he’s pretty certain no one will believe him.

If this is the case he should have immediately filed a missing person report. From the video I could see both of them making bad decisions due to their mental state.

After watching that video I am pretty sure the police could get them to say anything they wanted. There is no way that kid should be talking to police without a lawyer.

I wonder if the police who pulled them over have any remorse? Maybe we wouldn't be here if they arrested her. I think that would weigh on my mind.
