The original poster may have misunderstood something. We have posted in here about how Gocong has played in the nickel packages in preseason, and thus we wonder whether Gocong or Gaither will play in the nickel. He may have just made a mistake in his post, thinking he was sitting in run downs rather than passing downs.

I can't say for sure, but I still think Gaither winds up in the nickel. But it's uncertain as of now.

I benched Poz for him, though I can live with that one. I won't do it again unless I see more from Gaither, though.
