Game Thread - Divisionals - Washington V Seattle (1 Viewer)

I think momentum is definitely with the Skins. The Seahawks wasted a half dozen good opportunities. And the Seahawks had the ball with 1:38 left in the half with 3 TOs, in very good field position. 3 and out!!

Watch out for Gibbs' halftime adjustments. Plus the Skins receive the kickoff.
Skins wasted a couple good opportunities also.

Seriously? I'm shocked that Seattle got to the locker room with the lead after suffering a 0-2 turnover margin. Both of them unforced to boot.

Agree. Seattle played probably the worst half of football they've played all year and they're still winning.

Strange punt returns today. They field it when it seems like they should fair catch, they let it bounce when it seems like they should field it, etc

Hmm. I don't see them playing much better in the second half. But the Skins D is so bad, they'll probably still hang on.

The announcers are acting like this isn't a game between two top-10 Ds.It wasn't expected to be this low-scoring, but with conservative, SB winning coaches on a rainy day with good defenses, it's not too surprising.

they played pretty poorly in the first half of week 4....funny how that happens when they play Washington.

After a half - neither side looks like a playoff team.
 Great defense had something to do with that. There were very very few penalties in this half- well played.
"Great"? Not even a good defense. Zero sacks. Seahags fumbled 4 times and gave two to Was. Muffed a punt return.
You think its a total coincidence that teams turn the ball over very frenquently against the Skins?

Washington's D is great and is a huge reason why Seattle looks so bad, don't get me wrong. My point is that its much more likely that Seattle's O plays better than it is Washington's O plays better in the 2nd.Washington is going to have to have a defensive score to win IMO.

Your great defense just allowed Hass to walk into the endzone untouched :coffee:

Is Matt Hasselbeck the new Brett Favre? I haven't actually watched him play much, but he seems to have that same "gunslinger" attitude...for good and bad. This is his coming out party if the Seahawks can win.

Your great defense is watching the game from home.

SANTANA MOSS!!!
LOL... My GF is watching the game with me."that Santana Moss is good at tricking the other guys"
Your GF watching the game with you says a lot about the poster.
And what does it say?
You got game or something of that ilk.
She's not all that knowledgable about the game. I was teaching her about the positions earlier.
Pun intended or no?
Double entendre intended.

turnovers are largely luck(the random way a football will bounce). That a team can win despite having that bad luck means that they are even stronger than their record would indicate.
