Well, it appears that Denver fixed its defense at the expense of its offense.I know Denver's special teams have stunk for years, but I do not like the fact that there are so many 1st string players playing on special teams. It is ultimately going to get some one really important hurt.
I actually love the idea of first stringers on special teams. I'm not worried so much about them getting hurt (ST injuries aren't really that common, especially if you're not doing anything risky like busting wedges). My only concern would be if it was tiring them out or taking away reps with the first-string offense/defense.Denver's offense is terrible right now, although I don't know if you can hold that against the coach- it's not like he really inherited anything on that side of the ball or anything (

).Matt Prater's looking as good as he looked early last season. Hopefully he doesn't end this season looking as bad as he looked late last season.
