Three straight handoffs to Stewart. Ouch for Williams owners. Not going to be a pretty season. Quite a change from Williams getting a lot of red zone carries last year. I guess Williams became a pansy in the off season?

Both got plenty of goal line carries last year. It is early. Calm down.

Are you serious?

Way to go Carolina, two straight false starts...

ETA: TD C Harris

Stewart is very good. D Williams is better. And that's not a knock at all on Stewart but rather a testament to how good Williams has become.

Who's the pansy?

TD WIlliams- reversed field; damn he's good.
Oh, nfl.com is wrong again? Gosh, I'm surprised. Before they had John Carney throwing TDs. They have C. Harris scoring that TD.
Yeah, def Williams. Made a couple guys miss then went across thef ield and footrace to the EZ.
Excellent.....I came here to ask WTF C. Harris was doing stealing TDs....good to here there is still justice in this world.

I know it is early, but the reports early on were that Williams would get a bulk of the carries. Also, Stewart was supposed to be hobbled. Stewart already has more carries than Williams. I'd think, given that the game has just started, Williams would be carrying a whole lot more than Stewart until somewhere around the 3rd quarter.

Good to see nothing is changed. One yrd runs false starts dropped passes. Another great eagle season.

Now all we need is a missed FG.

Shocking he made it.

####### ####### desean.

can this ####### idiot get his #### together? i thought he was going to get tackled or stripped while showboating on that punt return, now he has to excessively celebrate.

I sure would love for my good buddy Chase to explain again how Jake Delhomme is a very good QB?

BIRDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

who is the backup QB for the panthers? he might get 15 starts. delhomme is playing awfully.
McCown and Moore and they actualy looked worse than this in the pre-season. I'm thinking my 4-5 win prediction for the year may have been a stretch.

 As an Eagles fan I'm absolutely baffled by some of the comments in this thread. The score is 24-7 Eagles.

Absurd that a team with those RB's and Smith at WR, and that talent on defense is only good for 4-5 wins. How can they possibly have neglected the QB position this badly, especially with so many decent veteran QB's available this year?

Being objective:

*** Jason Peters off to an awful start, two false starts already (which was a problem for him in BUF)

*** Terrible Juqua penalty

*** That first drive was a ton of overpursuit, but it looks like the LBs corps has settled down since

Interesting that J. Stew got a goal line series, but he did nothing with it and DeAngelo came in after the first down on the 1...
