Horrible camera coverage on the first play for Jax. Cameraman bit on a pump fake and panned out to the secondary while Garrard ran for 9 yards and we didn't get to see it.

We did get a good look at the penalty flag long before the announcers noticed it.
 
Pollard should have had an interception for Houston. Osgood slow to get up after the play. MSW looked gimpy after making a reception earlier. If these two guys are gimpy for the entire game, could be a big day for Mike Thomas.

 
Scobee puts up 3 points on a 38 yard field goal. Houston has been getting good pressure on Garrard. Garrard slow to get up after being sacked on third down.

 
CBS game tracker reports that Garrard hurt on a play and probable to return. Can someone share what happened? I have him and MSW running today, does not sound good that both look to have been hurt this early on.

Jailbreak on the line, he was sacked by like 4 guys really hard and was slow to get up. Didn't look too serious though.

Garrard was slow to get up after being sacked, but he jogged off the field without any help. MSW might be more worrisome as he grabbed his hip after being tackled on a pass reception.
 
Foster stuffed on first and goal at the 6. 2nd down, pass goes thru TE James Casey's hands. Tough catch but he should have had it. 3rd down, Foster target in the EZ but he fell down and it was almost picked off. Rackers FG.

The Houston drive looked good until they got inside the 10 yard line.
 
End of the 1st quarter, game tied 3-3. Zach Miller has 2 catches and seems to be getting a good share of the targets, I'm wondering why they aren't going to Marcedes Lewis.

 
Andre with an intentional drop because he knew he was gonna get tackled behind the line of scrimmage, very heads up play.

Houston: 3 & out.

 
Jax smarted up and is running MJD on every play now, Hou can't seem to stop him.

MJD rolled up on the back of MSW legs. MSW is limping off the field with help. FWIW, I saw him get up slowly a few plays before that too, so whatever's wrong is definitely hobbling him.

 
Looks like Kubiak is stuck on Schaub today. Disappointing if you're a Foster owner. And if you're a Texans fan, you can go ahead and pencil in a loss too. When will Kubiak figure out that his team plays much better, and stands a better chance of winning, if they go run the ball and control TOP?

MJD finishes off the Jags drive with a TD, Jags ran 9 consecutive run plays against the Texans, no passes. Jags lead 10-3.

 
It is frustrating as all get out owning MSW. I don't play him until this oh so sweet looking match-up and then this. I really hope he can shake off whatever it was that happened or I am royally screwed. Hang in there MSW. Stay strong, fight through it and come back. :goodposting:

Foster has gotten stuffed on 4 of his 5 carries. I think Kubiak feels he needs to loosen the Jags up. Also he might want to exploit the worst safeties in the league.Edit: Stuffed on 5 of 6 now.

MJD scores on a 9 yard run. Previous play had a stupid penalty by Houston for hitting MJD while he was out of bounds. Jags up their lead to 17-3.

 
Hou totally in disarry. Come out in the hurry up on their 12 with 30 seconds left, throw 2 short underneath passes, line up for a 3rd down and let time expire while trying to get setup for another play. Had 3 timeouts and didn't use one of them? Not sure what they were thinking there.
