I wouldnt be surprised if its a full fledged RBBC between Alstott, Pittman, and Williams for the rest of the year. Williams is just not getting the job done.

He's getting hit at the line of scrimmage. He's not breaking tackles and there don't really seem to be holes.

Pittman has an ear injury, which prevents him from hearing the snap count, so they don't want him catching passes.
