Game Thread W11 - Denver V Atlanta (1 Viewer)

On 3rd and 18, Roddy White dropped a bomb in the end zone after the CB fell down right before the ball got there. 4th and 18 from the Denver 45 coming up with 1:06 left.
 Just watching the gametracker here, what was the 10yd penalty on 2nd down?

Very impressive win for Denver. Amazingly, I was most impressed with the Bronco defense. Atlanta remains a very dynamic team, but this loss shows how young they are, I think. It's going to hurt them.

Nice win for the Broncos - the way they have looked against the run and this being a road/dome game it looked like disaster on paper. They need to take this and build from it instead of fading like they have done in the past. Come on Steelers.  :towelwave:

HUGE win for the Broncos. :D :D :D

A hold. Ryan was back there forever and the hold happened when he scrambled to the right.

Amen to that.

Agreed on all accounts. Denver really needed a win like this. Who would have thought their defense would be better without DJ, Champ, Boss, and Nate.

Falcons lost a game they should've won. Ryan gives up an INT, 3rd and long Marshall catches a ball, 3rd down and the Falcons let Graham catch the ball, a sure TD dropped by Roddy White. Falcons just didn't come out to play today while Denver did.

Denver made plenty of mistakes today, too. Not scoring after a long kickoff return, not scoring a TD after goal-to-go from the 1, an easy INT dropped, etc. The better team won today. :)

Well the Broncos won, but watching the game I got the impression that Falcons were the better team and should've won. Regardless, this was supposed to be a rebuilding year for the Falcons. Just need to learn from the mistakes made from today.

Coulda, woulda, shoulda. I always say, if you cannot win a game at home, you were not the better team that particular day. Falcons have had a great season thus far, regardless, and fans of their should be excited about their future. :)

It's addition by subtraction with some of those Denver linebackers. They lolligag here and they lolligag there, the whole point of which seems to be to get their latest defensive coordinator fired.

These younger, faster linebackers played with joy, speed, energy and good old-fashioned give a darn today and Denver fans should reward their effort with a collectve cheer at their next home game. Winborn, Woodyard and Larsen played hard, not like they were too cool for school.

The Broncos could do without some of that heavy linebacker payroll and that big, whoofing attitude going forward in my opinion. Draft new ones. The ones who are out due to injury aren't winners.

The team that was out there today defensively for the Broncos was a lot easier to cheer for.

DJ and Champ no. Boss and Nate...yes.

Sheffler get any looks? Injured?
He had two targets I believe - both the ones I saw were real stretches for him to get the ball - it seemed more like Cutler was rushed and threw it away than specifically targeting him out. Oddly enough it was Nate Jackson running the seam routes.
