Game Thread W11 - New England V Buffalo (1 Viewer)

4th and 1 up 35 to 7 and they go for the TD. This is the point that the Bills should go all out, even if it means a late hit, and break Brady's legs LT on Theismann style.
Grow up
I am the one that needs to grow up? I did not cheat and then have a temper tantrum because I got caught and think I have to run up the score on every team I can just to prove a point that I did not have to cheat in the first place..... even though I obviously thought I did because I cheated in the first place.
 :X

If it was any other team, no one would say a thing.
100% wrong. Any time I see ANY team up by 35 points within chip shot range of a field goal go for it on 4th down, I'll call it out for exactly what it is: running up the score.Problem is, it's only NE who seems to be doing it.

That was extremely unsportsmanlike.
How so? There is a whole half of football left and the Pats ran Evans and Eckel (their 3rd and 4th RB) quite a bit on that drive. You want the Pats to kneel on it every play or are they just not allowed to pass anymore?
Kick the ball. Seriously. Are you proposing the old "You never know, the BIlls could come back!" arguement?
Not at all. The Bills are not coming back. I think the Pats starters deserve to play. They have worked hard all week and shouldnt have to sit the 2nd half because the other team cant stop their offense. Your theory of sitting the starters works in a vacuum for 1 game. Most have argued each game that Brady should only have played the 2nd half of the Cowboys and Colts game. Is that realistic?

Guy sounds like a 14 year old here.

:X C'mon Andy, if this were ADP scoring another TD you'd be jumping backflips.
No. I really wouldn't. Belichick: Fear does not exist in this dojo, does it? Brady: NO, SENSEI! Belichick: Pain does not exist in this dojo, does it? Brady: NO, SENSEI! Belichick: Defeat does not exist in this dojo, does it? Brady: NO, SENSEI!
Amen to that.Mercy is for the weak. Here, in the streets, in competition. A man confronts you he is the enemy. An enemy deserves no mercy
Where do I go to nominate a series of posts for 'best ever'?
Back to the eighties?

Belichick: What do we study here?

Brady: THE WAY OF THE FIST SIR.

Belichick: And what is that way?

Brady: STRIKE FIRST. STRIKE HARD. NO MERCY SIR.

Belichick: I can't hear you.

Brady: STRIKE FIRST. STRIKE HARD. NO MERCY SIR.

If I'm Andy Reid or any other coach that has to play NE I think I would kidnap Mercury Morris and tie him to a pole in my backyard so no reporters could talk to him before the game.

That would rule if the Pats started taking knees in the 3rd. It would be a much bigger slap in the face than scoring again, and again and...
:lmao: Can you imagine the crying and whining if Brady took a knee in the 3rd quarter? The 'my feelings are hurt' crowd around here would be up in arms. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.BTW, I'm a Vikings fan :bag: but this is a spectacle to behold and I'm enjoying every second of it.
Could you imagine if they allowed the second string QB to play in the second half when they're up by 32? (Brady owner, so yes I'm slighted)

You know what would make this game legendary? If that Pats started kneeling their offense NOW to silence their critics. They'd still win. And it'd be sooo characteristically pompous.
What if they started playing offense with nine guys? Is there a "too few men" penalty? What if they removed one offesnive player after each score? I think Brady, the offensive line and Moss could still score on 50% of their drives.

I've never left them. :bag:

Listen to Michaels and Madden try to excuse running up the score. "Bill loves Coach Jauron, he would never do anything like that."

Meanwhile Brady's calling time out, becasue he sees something he doesn't like.

Well, the Bills can be happy about one thing...they have defended well enought that Brady's QB rating has dropped below perfect to 151.4....

Can we see Jason Wright in the game. I had Earnest Graham in my lineup but for some reason I thought Atlanta would shut him down so I put Wright in there. Thank God I have Brady as my Starting QB and Stallworth as 1 of my receivers. I'm up 8 and counting with a goose egg from Wright. My opponent has Brandon Marshall still to go so I need at least a 20 point cushion.
PLEASE KEEP US UPDATED!

Maybe the Bills should just give up and walk off the field - that's the only way to stop the Patriots from scoring.

Seriously, this is entertainment - these guys get paid millions to entertain 10s of millions. This also isn't like college football where they team has 90 players and 3 backup QBs that need practice.

Forget the legs, just take him on helmet to helmet, get kicked out but possibly end his career with a severe concussion. If you go low you arent guaranteed to break a leg or knee. There's something to be said for respect for the game of football. Considering the years of illegal taping and spygate, it is obvious Bellicheat is just a punk, good at what he does but still a lowlife.I don't know about you guys, but when I'm playing Madden I dont keep going for TDs on 4th down when I'm blowing out a friend. I kick a FG. if I'm doing season/franchise-mode, hell I will take my starters out in the late 3rd Q if i'm up by 4 scores. Something to be said for injury risk, let alone not being douches.
