Game Thread W11 - New England V Buffalo (1 Viewer)

Boy, You Patriot haters are such a bunch whining babys.
It's not hating. The Pats are extaordinary - we get it.This is like the scene in Fight Club when the crowd enjoys being part of the fight until The Narrator beats Baby Face to a pulp just because he can. Then it's something different.

Can we see Jason Wright in the game. I had Earnest Graham in my lineup but for some reason I thought Atlanta would shut him down so I put Wright in there. Thank God I have Brady as my Starting QB and Stallworth as 1 of my receivers. I'm up 8 and counting with a goose egg from Wright. My opponent has Brandon Marshall still to go so I need at least a 20 point cushion.

Maroney injured

By Mike Reiss, Globe Staff November 18, 07 10:23 PM

The Patriots announced that RB Laurence Maroney has a foot injury. His return is probable.

The Bills are still trying to score, they still have their first team in on defense. Why should the Pats pull their starters or start kneeling or whatever? Surely the onus is on the losing team to unofficially concede rather than on the leading team to pull their starters and risk a comeback (no matter how remote).

You strike me as a particularly cold and remorseless man. Chills my blood just to look at you.

Guy in my league that has been around since 1995 just broke the single game scoring record, largely behind Moss and Owens. I know you care.

Seriously, this is entertainment
Seriously? I'm really not entertained about anything in this game. I am neither a Patriot hater nor fan, and I give them every single accolade that's due to them. They are among the best, if not the best, football team I have ever seen. But watching them blow out team after team is not entertaining. Would much rather see a hard fought, close game that goes all the way to the 2 min. warning in the 4th.Can't blame the Pats for being head and shoulders above the Bills...I could blame the flex schedule makers, though, for trying to put on a more entertaining game for fans to watch.

What the hell guys. I don't understand why Patriot fanboys can't see what everyone else does. It seems very weird to me that they don't understand that this is running things up and rubbing the other coaches face in it.

Why isn't winning enough?

I bet if you ask nicely, he'll sell you some toothpaste and food products.

Lets see....will it be running up the score when an undrafted FA RB scores the upcoming TD? Or is that only when Brady passes?

4th and 1 up 35 to 7 and they go for the TD. This is the point that the Bills should go all out, even if it means a late hit, and break Brady's legs LT on Theismann style.
Grow up
Forget the legs, just take him on helmet to helmet, get kicked out but possibly end his career with a severe concussion. If you go low you arent guaranteed to break a leg or knee.
Speaking of classy. What a ####bag.

I would be happy with just a solid hit that had him get up very slowly... enough to give the classy coach of the year a heart attack. (not a real heart attack but enough that he snaps out of this 'must crush all by 100 points' and start thinking 'I need to protect my stars')

OK New England fans. Go ahead and defend this. Up 35-7, you go for it on 4th down. Up 42-7, and you go for it on 4th down. I guarantee you there is not a single other team in this league that would do this. That is why, while the Patriots are clearly the best team this year and probably ever, they may end up as the most reviled sports team in history.

I'm in a Patriots fantasy injury league, and I need a Brady ACL to win.

C'mon Brady ACL!!!! :fingerscrossed:

What's sad is that no matter what the Patriots do, the whining babies here will find a way to cry about it. If they go for it, they're classless. If they kick a field goal, they're running up the score. If they kneel, they're rubbing it in.

If you can't handle watching football without getting your feelings hurt, then you need to find a new sport.

are they saving Maroney for the 1st quarter of next week's game?

I'm enjoying this board more than the game now. I'd kind of like to see just how many points the pats can score if they never take the foot off the pedal too.

Never gets old, does it? ;)

Did BB forget this isn't madden '08? Maybe he has the game feed in his headset and got confused....

BTW Bill, I got 13 TD's from Grossman to Berrien my last game, you're slacking...

I'm a Bears fan. You guys are cry babys.Sorry. ;)

I'm just really enjoying how upset this is making everyone.
No kidding - how many people in the world would get THAT upset about football and then go onto a message board to make sure everyone agrees with them? I am kind of terrified that the number is much higher than I thought.
