Game Thread W11 - NYG @ JAX (1 Viewer)

Has Fred Taylor now been around long enough to be considered underappreciated?

I mean, except for last year in which he was dinged up, I've had him on my team every year for the last 5. In all of those years, except last year, he's been healthy and if you took him where he should have been taken, he outperforms his draft position. He might be the most underappreciated #2 fantasy back in football.

Just a thought.

And Eli throws another pick

I don't wanna laugh at other's misery (out of respect to the Giants fans) but I can tell you who's laughing their arses off: the San Diego Chargers.

Plexico acting like a punk.

So it appears Tiki is getting removed on third downs no doubt due to his bad hand. This is major news in PPR leagues for owners of both Tiki and Jacobs.

NFL.com has gotten into the hallucinogens again.

(2:00) D.Garrard pass short middle to F.Taylor to NYG 5 for 9 yards (G.Wilson). FUMBLES (G.Wilson), RECOVERED by NYG-A.Pierce at NYG -5. Fred Taylor 105 yards to NYG -5. Touchback.

Wow are the Giants lucky to be in this one. I hope Coughlin goes to the no huddle. They have to do something to wake Eli up.

Why is it that the Giants only remember they have Shockey when they are in desperation mode? It seems like he gets 75% of his targets in the final 2-3 minutes of each half.

Wow, do these coaches wearing suits realize they look like complete douchebags? It's friggin football for crying out loud....

How many times do we see teams dominate another team, but let them hang around, when they should be down 2 TD's? And how many times does it come back to haunt them?

They were explaining this during a few of yesterday's games. They're basically doing it for one week in honor of some of the old-school coaches like Vince Lombardi, Tom Landry and **** Nolan, who always wore suits "at the office". There is supposedly also a bit of an undercurrent of protest to the whole thing because some of the coaches don't like the fact that they're normally required to wear officially licensed sports gear on the sidelines, which basically killed the suits for the few coaches who may have otherwise continued wearing them.

I just might have to grab Wilford off of the WW tomorrow. Garrard targets him a lot and Wilford (and Wrighster) is the only WR catching the throws.

Maybe Eli's dad can talk to the Jags coaches to take it easy on his boy since he is having a tough time tonight and may cry soon

Why does Jeremy Shockey yelling and making a scene on the sideline equal a "fiery player" but when TO does it, he is a selfish jerk?

I have never been a big fan of his. However I have to admit that he is the ONLY guy on the team that seems to have ANY emotion most of the time.
