Game Thread W11 - Oakland V Kansas City (1 Viewer)

Jesus LJ is going to have an absolutely enormous day. That drive was just ridiculously fast. They won't need to throw, not even a little.

From 2nd and 7 on the KC 38... KC runs for 7 straight plays. Bennett came in to spell LJ once, and ran for 20, the other plays were all LJ, all the time, marching downfield for the TD. Even called the run on 3rd and Goal from the 5.

 
Brooks gives the Raiders SO much more than Walter.

The Chiefs would have no less than 3 sacks right now if Walter was starting and Oakland wouldn't have got that FG because Brooks avoided the sack that would've put them out of range.

 
This is the only problem with having the Ticket. I watched that first drive of KC's and they looked unstoppable. I check around the league, and when I finally get back to this game, OAK is UP by 6! WTF?

Could be Larry Johnson only has two rushing attempts in the 2nd quarter.Oakland took over at 14:08 in the 2nd and held the ball until 7:47. Then KC went 3 and out. Oakland got the ball back at 6:24 and held onto it until 11 seconds remained in the half. Two scoring drives--a FG and a TD. Oakland time of possession in the 2nd Q: 12:20.Brooks is mobile and KC hasn't been able to penetrate well. Both drives went for 11 plays as KC wasn't able to stop them converting on 3rd and <3 several times.
 
Is Kennison even playing. This is the 3rd time this year I've started this piece of crap. Every time he lays an egg. Last time this year he'll be starting for me. I benched Coles. :wall:

KC has run a lot of 3 and 4 receiver sets so far today, but Green only has 3 completions on 6 attempts. KC's offense hasn't been on the field that much to begin with.
 
KC finally got some pressure on Brooks, wrapped him up but he was able to throw it away. Gallery got blocked into another lineman and his elbow bent in the wrong direction. L. Walker hurt too.

Oakland forced into a 3rd and 9 and KC gives up a 19 yard gain...

Did they pull into each other? I saw that once on the 3 Stooges

Let's just say watching this play in slo-mo was a lot less humorous than anything the Stooges did. Gallery got pushed backwards and went to brace himself with his arm as he fell, only Walker was already occupying that space on the field. Gallery's arm bent at the elbow--but in the wrong direction. Walker's leg was injured by the force of Gallery's fall into him.
 
Tynes misses the tying FG with 10 minutes left in the game. KC finally held Oakland to a 3 and out on their last drive, they'll be looking to do it again.

 
Finally KC stops Oakland on a third down... kind of...

Bad snap and Brooks has to fall on it, they'll be punting again. KC will have just shy of 5 minutes to try and come back.

 
KC has to go for it on 4th and 1 from inside Raider territory. LJ wrapped up behind the line but made a great second effort and plunged forward about 3-4 yards. Facemask made it moot, KC gets a first down anyway.
