Game Thread W11 - Philadelphia V Cincinnati (1 Viewer)

So what does Andy say to the team at halftime:A) "You're losing to the Bengals."B) "Don't make me pull my pants down."C) "Pass the Skyline chili."
D. I gotta put you guys in a better position to win. This falls on me I believe in our players and we are fine at positions. We won't change anything, they wont see that coming

Can anyone who is watching say some encouraging words that will imply McNabb'll turn it around?
Mc Nabb will spark the offense to eventually take the lead only to watch some boneheaded play doom the Eagles as fitting with this  season.

McNabb throws another pick as the EAgles are driving. This one was BAD.

Fire Reid now. Seriously.
I seriously just don't understand Reid. Westbrook is one of the best RBs in the league and they barely use him. I know that the Bengals were stuffing him early, but that's why you have to keep going at it. Or at least get him on a few more screens. And McNabb has to be one of the most streaky QBs in NFL history. When he's on, he can easily put up 400 yards and 4 TDs. But when he's off, he's beyond awful. His accuracy and decision making right now are atrocious. 34 passes to 8 runs is just inexcuseable. If nothing else, ownership needs to force Reid to give the playcalling duties to Morninwheg.

At least with that sack, the Eagles can punt the ball into the end zone instead of McNabb throwing another pick.

God no. I want a new OC altogether. Reid has too much influence on Marty and showed it last season when he took play calling back away from him. Problem is htough, Reid wont go anywhere. His buyout is way to much

Geesh. And defenses can just tee off on McNabb because they know that 80% of the time it's going to be a passing play.

Also, the Eagles don't try to stretch the field all that often and aren't successful at it very often because McNabb's accuracy is so bad. Jackson and Curtis are great downfield threats, but that's somewhat neutralized by the fact that McNabb is constantly over or underthrowing them.

I don't think it matters. Reid is going to be in charge of playcalling until he's fired. But the ownership still believes in Reid as both GM, Head Coach and playcaller. So unless the Eagles have a 3 or 4 win season, I don't think that Reid is going anywhere. So the Eagles will continue to throw the ball 40+ times every game, they'll continue to mis-manage the clock, they'll continue to have problems running the ball, they'll blow timeouts and challenges, and they'll continue to have mediocre talent because they believe it's the system, not the players that matter.

Unbelievable. McNabb just has no touch at all. Perfect screen setup for Westbrook with NOBODY between him and the goaline and McNabb throws it over his head. :goodposting:

I dunno. This season alot of people are being very vocal about how bad the play calling is and such. More then any other season.

4th and inches. GOing for it. :goodposting:

And they got it! No push on that at all though. If McNabb wasn't the size of a linebacker, no way does he convert. The offensive line is huge and yet has no ability to run block.

Westy was open, McNabb decided not to lead him causing an incomplete.
