Game Thread W11 - Philadelphia V Cincinnati (1 Viewer)

Is there a team in the league that burns more timeouts and has more delay of games than the Eagles? Get the playcall in and get the huddle broken morons! It's not that difficult!

54 passes

15 runs by RBs

Have the Eagles even run the ball in OT? Once maybe?

If the Eagles can't beat the Bengals, they might as well pack it up for the season.

The fact that this game came down to this - regardless of outcome - shows just how far the Eagles have sunk this season.

I don't see many victories left this year as they stumble through the rest of the schedule.

Great second effort by Fitzpatrick. They just seem to want the game more. The Eagles on offense seem to be acting like they expect the Bengals just to let them win.

They need to install sensors inside balls they interact with the 1st down flags and goalline so when the ball crosses that line a light in a booth or something is triggered

Four minutes of review and then a timeout? Are you serious?
I'm not sure that there's a team in the league that uses their timeouts worse than the Eagles. In fact, I'm not sure that anyone is even CLOSE to as bad as the Eagles. It's like they just don't care about them. There is just zero urgency surrounding the entire team. It's like they just expect other teams to roll over and allow them to win. And then there's just total confusion as to why they end up losing. But rather than go back and figure out why they lost and make some changes, they just throw their hands up, "trust" in their system and come out to do the exact same thing the next game. That team is BADLY in need of a need coaching staff to shake things up and get some excitement back into the team.

How  do Eagles fans get when McNabb throws a pass into the dirt or has a pass tipped, is losing, and just stands there laughing?

I'd want to smash his face in if he was my team's QB and stood around smiling and laughing after throwing a garbage pass when we're about to tie the Bengals in a game.

Is the Cinci run D really that intimidating that Donovan needs to throw the ball 60 fing times??? What in the hell?

They should punt. Even if they get the 1st down, their offense has been too inept to move down and score that quickly, given how much time is left. And if you do not get the 1st down, you lose. 5-4-1 is better than 5-5.

Do teams even practice situations?

That punt should have been downed immediately to save clock.

Chris Perry should have been helped off the field by his teammate.

Brutal on both teams.

What is the NFL rule that had the game pulled from regular TV? They showed about 7 minutes, then said per the NFL rule we can't show you anymore?

Sorry if this is the wrong place.

2nd brutal roughing the passer call this game against the Eagles. I can honestly say i don't get those calls whatsoever.

If the network doesn't have a double header then they can only show games out of region until 4:15. They can't show it after that as not to compete against the network that does have the double header that work.

What happens during a tie in a confidence pool? I am just curious about that - seems like a long time since a tie.
Great question which is why I wanted to watch the end of the game, I had the Eagles. Nothing in the rules that I got it says if you win you go on, if you lose you are done. Nothing about a tie.

You mean a survivor pool? Tie = loser. Need to pick a winner.
Maybe, maybe not. Ours is a death pool and makes no reference to a tie. I guess we will see what happens, pretty big deal as there are only 3 of us left.

Maybe, maybe not. Ours is a suicide pool and makes no reference to a tie. I guess we will see what happens, pretty big deal as there are only 3 of us left.
Need to pick a team that wins. That's the only rule. :lmao:

Exhibit A of what happens when you have two coaches trying not to lose.

Welcome to Yahoo! Sports Survival Football, a weekly game that challenges you to show your skills by correctly identifying a winning professional football team in each of the 17 weeks of the regular season. Each week you must select one team that you suspect will be a winner in their game that weekend. If that professional team wins, you remain Active and are allowed to pick again the following week. If the professional football team you selected loses (or the game ends in a tie), you're Eliminated from the competition and may no longer make future picks. To make this simple sounding game more of a challenge, you can only select each professional football team once while an Active member of an individual group.

That applies to that pool, ours is not done through Yahoo and says:• If your team wins you continue on to next week. • If your team loses you are done for the season. That is where things get grey. atleast for this pool.(edited to say I expect to be out, but feel I have a better chance with loophole then I did with the Eagles in OT.)
