Game Thread W12 - Jacksonville v Buffalo (1 Viewer)

MJD continues to make the most of every single carry.

His 2 carries thus far: 1st one was good for 24 yards. 2nd carry was a 14 yard TD run.

Future stud

Bills playing well today.

8 play, 80yd TD drive capped off by a nice 30yd TD run from McGahee...his 2nd on the day.

Jacksonville with just 9 yards passing so far.

Good thing Buffalo has a good secondary because the run defense is atrocious. It will be interesting to see what happens in the offseason since they're obviously not going to sign Clements. IMO, they need some bigger bodies at the DT positions. If the Bills really make an effort to upgrade their DTs and their OL this offseason I would be pretty happy with the team.

Oh, and Donte Whitner=DROY. Mark it down.

moving Peters to LT was a huge start to fixing the problems on the offensive line.the run D is awful. Triplett, McCargo, and Kyle Williams all belong in the rotation next year but they could definitely use an upgrade from Tim Anderson to a real run plugger that they can use on early downs.I just hope they bring back Fletcher.as for DROY, I'm not sure Whitner will really be in the top-5. Tamba Hali, Mark Anderson, AJ Hawk, DeMeco Ryans, Ernie Sims, Richard Marshall, Antoine Bethea, Dawan Landry are all having very good years.

:goodposting: He may be the most underrated defensive player in the NFL. He's the heart of that defense. Maybe the Bills just need to convince his wife that they should stay there...

CBS just showed a stat that said Losman's 4th quarter QB rating is the 5th best in the AFC. That's not great, but it's probably better than most people give him credit for.

Nice job Buffalo. How many times are they going to choke down the stretch? How can you give up a run like that on 4th down?

What's with the crappy camera angles today? Can't tell crap on this one...couldn't tell it on the C. Taylor fumble.

Losman is playing pretty well lately. I wish they'd open the offense up a little more for him though. They did a nice job letting him air it out last week but it doesn't seem as if they were having him throw deep downfield this week.

The Bills are 5-6 now. Still in the playoff hunt although they basically need to win out. With games against SD and Baltimore though that's not all that likely. But they still have a realistic shot at going 8-8 and I'd be pretty happy with that outcome for this season.

they played with the lead almost the entire game so they didn't need to be all that aggressive today. I couldn't tell for sure, but I'm also guessing the Jaguars probably played more deep coverage after that huge pass interference penalty that Evans drew. Losman did a pretty good job of taking what the defense gave him and I was happy to see him get through a game with 0 sacks. He used his mobility a lot today to buy extra time, and came up huge with basically the game winning throw to Parrish at the end.
