Game Thread W12 - New England V Detroit (1 Viewer)

That was a moving segment on Chris Henry. For those that didn't see it, Chris was made an organ donor after he passed by his mother. The segment was his mother meeting the recipients of the organs. It's was amazing to see the impact this decision made on the lives of 4 total strangers.

I worked with an organ donation organization as a med student, and continue to see people on transplant lists at the hospital. It's really an amazing gift. I know everyone has different beliefs, but if organ donation isn't something you've considered, I certainly encourage it.

sorry for :excited:

CBS showed Tate in the starting lineup opposite Welker instead of Branch. I didnt see anything about Branch being on the injured list. Did I miss something?

the telecasts are often wrong on the starting lineups - they prob just repeat the info given to them then the teams changeup on the first series . . .Branch started the game . . .

Love the jerseys- home against home, blue against red. Looks great.
I actually came here to post how bad I think the Lions throwbacks are. They obviously weren't trying to be creative or interesting when they decided they'd play in practice jerseys, but I guess that's how it was back then? :lmao:

They also had Jahvid as the starter while Morris was in on the first, and so far all but one play.

You're in the minority here. I've never heard anything but love for the lions throwbacks. They're sharp IMO.

Lions fan here and I think the overwhelming opinion in Detroit is that we wish they were our regular home jerseys. I really like the look.

Don't look now, but the Lions have committed 0 penalties so far. Keep it up! Seems like that's been the achilles heel of a team on the verge of turning the corner (without their starting QB).

anything that reminds Detroit of the 50s is a good thing.
