Very nice catch, all speed across the back of the endzone. Some Titan was there(need to see replay, LB? S?) should have reacted but just stood there. CB was right behind Coles.

this is flawed thinking. If it is clearly a fumble, you do not have to try anything. I hear this all the time. I have never seen a completely clear fumble get miraculously turned into a non fumble.
