Game Thread W12 - Pittsburgh V Buffalo (1 Viewer)

Local radio saying that there's a heavy Pittsburgh contingent today - they compared it to a Sabres/Leafs game with all the opposing fans there.

Buffalo signature play right there.

Hines Ward fumbles. Buffalo fights like hell to get the ball. Then the whole thing is negated by an "illegal contact" penalty by Buffalo. Pitt keeps the ball.

Pitt is gong to win this game, but they don't stand a chance in the playoffs with an o-line this terrible.

Buffalo's d-line looks like the Giants right now.

any targets atleast for S. Johnson yet

ETA i see he has 1 catch.

Any more targets than that so far?

Don't really like the way this game is unfolding. The Steelers have been completely dominating, but only have 10 points to show for it. Now Buffalo is finally moving the ball...

Simmer down. I'd bet you a 1 month self-imposed ban that Pittsburgh wins this game.

Harrison with a classy helmet-to-chin hit as he crushes Fitzpatrick - he's gonna get paralyzed one of these times. (ETA - Harrison, not Fitz)

Not sure about targets but he has two awful drops.
Terrible news but good info, thank you.
Just dropped a 3rd.
should go back to "steve"
Seriously though, he was "Stevie" until earlier this year when he started to get some notoriety and the pundits/announcers were calling him "Steve".

there goes $100k and maybe a week off for harrison
didn't see it (radio only this week) but the steelers announcers made it sound like a bad call.
I'm on the fence myself. The timing of the hit was fine - Fitz had just released the ball a split-second earlier. It wasn't quite helmet-to-helmet, either, as Harrison hit him pretty much squarely on the chin. But it just looked vicious....Harrison looked to have left his feet for the hit, led with his helmet, and really just crushed a defenseless player.I don't know the specifics of the NFL rules, but I wonder if the officials thought it was helmet-to-helmet. I thought it was at first, too, before seeing the replay.

I'm on the fence as well...but it's getting harder and harder for me to look at anything they call on Harrison objectively. They are clearly out to get him.

And the Steelers may blow this game. Unreal.

Horrible call. Nowhere close to his chin as some people - tasker - are saying. Enough of the bs ####### roughing calls!!!!!!! That was a textbook tackle.

textbook says to keep your head up on a tackle rather than leading with the crown, no?

Steelers announcers (paraphrasing): they're walking a thin line and beginning to upset fans with these calls.
