Game Thread W13 - Baltimore V Cincinnati (1 Viewer)

Ratbirds haven't lost to a team with a losing record yet this season and I don't think anyone would argue that their best isn't better than the Bengals' best. But they're not good enough to go into Cincy and lay an egg and still win. It's a game they cannot lose and remain in contention for the playoffs with Dallas, Washington and Pittsburgh left on the schedule. So they'd better put some heat on the Ivy QB, something they haven't been doing very well lately.

The way things are going this year, Willis could still get in there on the next series and run for 90 yards and a score.

Fitzpatrick is laughably bad. Like Rick Mirer bad. At some point, you'd expect some progress. He looks as bad now as he did the first game he started.

Two straight third down conversions for the Ratbirds now, one on a sweet scramble by Flacco. Ravens seem determined to test the Cincy secondary deep today.

Ratbirds need to start getting 6 on these red zone trips. Their special teams are too shaky and could give up a TD in a blink.

Clayton with another great deep catch and then Heap for the score. Look for them to go back to pounding the ball now; they've got a big edge in time of possession.

Inexplicably, the Bengals get a big scramble from Fitz, then a nice catch and run by Housh and get a FG at the half. Where's that been?

Ravens seem determined to keep throwing deep and they've had a little success at it. I'm not sure why the sudden change in tactics. You'd think they'd keep pounding McClain with a dose of screens to Rice to go along with the quick hitters to Mason, which nobody's been able to stop all year.

Why don't they pound with McGahee?

 None of Ravens watchers have a clue. It's like they draw names out of a hat.

Damn. Not that I expect anyone to care about my FF team, but I waffled on starting Clayton today and decided not to. Ah well... Huge game for him today though which is good.

I'm sure other teams Cam's OC'ed for wanted him gone, but he's the Ravens' MVP this season.
Boy, they're a different team on offense, that's for sure.Time for Troy to get a quarter's worth of snaps to stay sharp. And let's see what Barnes can do at LB.
